Comments: This quotation is often cited as being in an 1802 letter to Secretary of the Treasury Albert Gallatin, and/or "later published in The Debate Over the Recharter of the Bank Bill (1809)."
The first part of the quotation ("If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered") has not been found anywhere in Thomas Jefferson's writings, to Albert Gallatin or otherwise. It is identified in Respectfully Quoted as spurious, and the editor further points out that the words "inflation" and "deflation" are not documented until after Jefferson's lifetime.
The second part of the quotation ("I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies...") may well be a paraphrase of a statement Jefferson made in a letter to John Taylor in 1816. He wrote, "And I sincerely believe, with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale."
The third part of this quotation ("The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs") may be a misquotation of Jefferson's comment to John Wayles Eppes, "Bank-paper must be suppressed, and the circulating medium must be restored to the nation to whom it belongs."
Lastly, we have not found a record of any publication called The Debate Over the Recharter of the Bank Bill. There was certainly debate over the recharter of the National Bank leading up to its expiration in 1811, but a search of Congressional documents of that period yields none of the verbiage discussed above.

NO INCIDENT in all Jesus' eventful earth career was more engaging,
more humanly thrilling, than this, his first remembered visit to Jerusalem.
He was especially stimulated by the experience of attending the temple
discussions by himself, and it long stood out in his memory as the great
event of his later childhood and early youth. This was his first opportunity
to enjoy a few days of independent living, the exhilaration of going and
coming without restraint and restrictions. This brief period of undirected
living, during the week following the Passover, was the first complete
freedom from responsibility he had ever enjoyed. And it was many years
subsequent to this before he again had a like period of freedom from all
sense of responsibility, even for a short time.

Women seldom went to the Passover feast at Jerusalem; they were not
required to be present. Jesus, however, virtually refused to go unless his
mother would accompany them. And when his mother decided to go, many other
Nazareth women were led to make the journey, so that the Passover company
contained the largest number of women, in proportion to men, ever to go up
to the Passover from Nazareth. Ever and anon, on the way to Jerusalem, they
chanted the one hundred and thirtieth Psalm.

From the time they left Nazareth until they reached the summit of the
Mount of Olives, Jesus experienced one long stress of expectant
anticipation. All through a joyful childhood he had reverently heard of
Jerusalem and its temple; now he was soon to behold them in reality. From
the Mount of Olives and from the outside, on closer inspection, the temple
had been all and more than Jesus had expected; but when he once entered its
sacred portals, the great disillusionment began.

In company with his parents Jesus passed through the temple precincts
on his way to join that group of new sons of the law who were about to be
consecrated as citizens of Israel. He was a little disappointed by the
general demeanor of the temple throngs, but the first great shock of the day
came when his mother took leave of them on her way to the women's gallery.
It had never occurred to Jesus that his mother was not to accompany him to
the consecration ceremonies, and he was thoroughly indignant that she was
made to suffer from such unjust discrimination. While he strongly resented
this, aside from a few remarks of protest to his father, he said nothing.
But he thought, and thought deeply, as his questions to the scribes and
teachers a week later disclosed.

He passed through the consecration rituals but was disappointed by
their perfunctory and routine natures. He missed that personal interest
which characterized the ceremonies of the synagogue at Nazareth. He then
returned to greet his mother and prepared to accompany his father on his
first trip about the temple and its various courts, galleries, and
corridors. The temple precincts could accommodate over two hundred thousand
worshipers at one time, and while the vastness of these buildings — in
comparison with any he had ever seen — greatly impressed his mind, he was
more intrigued by the contemplation of the spiritual significance of the
temple ceremonies and their associated worship.

Though many of the temple rituals very touchingly impressed his sense
of the beautiful and the symbolic, he was always disappointed by the
explanation of the real meanings of these ceremonies which his parents would
offer in answer to his many searching inquiries. Jesus simply would not
accept explanations of worship and religious devotion which involved belief
in the wrath of God or the anger of the Almighty. In further discussion of
these questions, after the conclusion of the temple visit, when his father
became mildly insistent that he acknowledge acceptance of the orthodox
Jewish beliefs, Jesus turned suddenly upon his parents and, looking
appealingly into the eyes of his father, said: "My father, it cannot be true
— the Father in heaven cannot so regard his erring children on earth. The
heavenly Father cannot love his children less than you love me. And I well
know, no matter what unwise thing I might do, you would never pour out wrath
upon me nor vent anger against me. If you, my earthly father, possess such
human reflections of the Divine, how much more must the heavenly Father be
filled with goodness and overflowing with mercy. I refuse to believe that my
Father in heaven loves me less than my father on earth."

When Joseph and Mary heard these words of their first-born son, they
held their peace. And never again did they seek to change his mind about the
love of God and the mercifulness of the Father in heaven.

1. Jesus Views the Temple

Everywhere Jesus went throughout the temple courts, he was shocked and
sickened by the spirit of irreverence which he observed. He deemed the
conduct of the temple throngs to be inconsistent with their presence in "his
Father's house." But he received the shock of his young life when his father
escorted him into the court of the gentiles with its noisy jargon, loud
talking and cursing, mingled indiscriminately with the bleating of sheep and
the babble of noises which betrayed the presence of the money-changers and
the vendors of sacrificial animals and sundry other commercial commodities.

But most of all was his sense of propriety outraged by the sight of
the frivolous courtesans parading about within this precinct of the temple,
just such painted women as he had so recently seen when on a visit to
Sepphoris. This profanation of the temple fully aroused all his youthful
indignation, and he did not hesitate to express himself freely to Joseph.

Jesus admired the sentiment and service of the temple, but he was
shocked by the spiritual ugliness which he beheld on the faces of so many of
the unthinking worshipers.

They now passed down to the priests' court beneath the rock ledge in
front of the temple, where the altar stood, to observe the killing of the
droves of animals and the washing away of the blood from the hands of the
officiating slaughter priests at the bronze fountain. The bloodstained
pavement, the gory hands of the priests, and the sounds of the dying animals
were more than this nature-loving lad could stand. The terrible sight
sickened this boy of Nazareth; he clutched his father's arm and begged to be
taken away. They walked back through the court of the gentiles, and even the
coarse laughter and profane jesting which he there heard were a relief from
the sights he had just beheld.

Joseph saw how his son had sickened at the sight of the temple rites
and wisely led him around to view the "gate beautiful," the artistic gate
made of Corinthian bronze. But Jesus had had enough for his first visit at
the temple. They returned to the upper court for Mary and walked about in
the open air and away from the crowds for an hour, viewing the Asmonean
palace, the stately home of Herod, and the tower of the Roman guards. During
this stroll Joseph explained to Jesus that only the inhabitants of Jerusalem
were permitted to witness the daily sacrifices in the temple, and that the
dwellers in Galilee came up only three times a year to participate in the
temple worship: at the Passover, at the feast of Pentecost (seven weeks
after Passover), and at the feast of tabernacles in October. These feasts
were established by Moses. They then discussed the two later established
feasts of the dedication and of Purim. Afterward they went to their lodgings
and made ready for the celebration of the Passover.

2. Jesus and the Passover

Five Nazareth families were guests of, or associates with, the family
of Simon of Bethany in the celebration of the Passover, Simon having
purchased the paschal lamb for the company. It was the slaughter of these
lambs in such enormous numbers that had so affected Jesus on his temple
visit. It had been the plan to eat the Passover with Mary's relatives, but
Jesus persuaded his parents to accept the invitation to go to Bethany.

That night they assembled for the Passover rites, eating the roasted
flesh with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. Jesus, being a new son of the
covenant, was asked to recount the origin of the Passover, and this he well
did, but he somewhat disconcerted his parents by the inclusion of numerous
remarks mildly reflecting the impressions made on his youthful but
thoughtful mind by the things which he had so recently seen and heard. This
was the beginning of the seven-day ceremonies of the feast of the Passover.

Even at this early date, though he said nothing about such matters to
his parents, Jesus had begun to turn over in his mind the propriety of
celebrating the Passover without the slaughtered lamb. He felt assured in
his own mind that the Father in heaven was not pleased with this spectacle
of sacrificial offerings, and as the years passed, he became increasingly
determined someday to establish the celebration of a bloodless Passover.

Jesus slept very little that night. His rest was greatly disturbed by
revolting dreams of slaughter and suffering. His mind was distraught and his
heart torn by the inconsistencies and absurdities of the theology of the
whole Jewish ceremonial system. His parents likewise slept little. They were
greatly disconcerted by the events of the day just ended. They were
completely upset in their own hearts by the lad's, to them, strange and
determined attitude. Mary became nervously agitated during the fore part of
the night, but Joseph remained calm, though he was equally puzzled. Both of
them feared to talk frankly with the lad about these problems, though Jesus
would gladly have talked with his parents if they had dared to encourage
him.

The next day's services at the temple were more acceptable to Jesus
and did much to relieve the unpleasant memories of the previous day. The
following morning young Lazarus took Jesus in hand, and they began a
systematic exploration of Jerusalem and its environs. Before the day was
over, Jesus discovered the various places about the temple where teaching
and question conferences were in progress; and aside from a few visits to
the holy of holies to gaze in wonder as to what really was behind the veil
of separation, he spent most of his time about the temple at these teaching
conferences.

Throughout the Passover week, Jesus kept his place among the new sons
of the commandment, and this meant that he must seat himself outside the
rail which segregated all persons who were not full citizens of Israel.
Being thus made conscious of his youth, he refrained from asking the many
questions which surged back and forth in his mind; at least he refrained
until the Passover celebration had ended and these restrictions on the newly
consecrated youths were lifted.

On Wednesday of the Passover week, Jesus was permitted to go home with
Lazarus to spend the night at Bethany. This evening, Lazarus, Martha, and
Mary heard Jesus discuss things temporal and eternal, human and divine, and
from that night on they all three loved him as if he had been their own
brother.

By the end of the week, Jesus saw less of Lazarus since he was not
eligible for admission to even the outer circle of the temple discussions,
though he attended some of the public talks delivered in the outer courts.
Lazarus was the same age as Jesus, but in Jerusalem youths were seldom
admitted to the consecration of sons of the law until they were a full
thirteen years of age.

Again and again, during the Passover week, his parents would find
Jesus sitting off by himself with his youthful head in his hands, profoundly
thinking. They had never seen him behave like this, and not knowing how much
he was confused in mind and troubled in spirit by the experience through
which he was passing, they were sorely perplexed; they did not know what to
do. They welcomed the passing of the days of the Passover week and longed to
have their strangely acting son safely back in Nazareth.

Day by day Jesus was thinking through his problems. By the end of the
week he had made many adjustments; but when the time came to return to
Nazareth, his youthful mind was still swarming with perplexities and beset
by a host of unanswered questions and unsolved problems.

Before Joseph and Mary left Jerusalem, in company with Jesus' Nazareth
teacher they made definite arrangements for Jesus to return when he reached
the age of fifteen to begin his long course of study in one of the
best-known academies of the rabbis. Jesus accompanied his parents and
teacher on their visits to the school, but they were all distressed to
observe how indifferent he seemed to all they said and did. Mary was deeply
pained at his reactions to the Jerusalem visit, and Joseph was profoundly
perplexed at the lad's strange remarks and unusual conduct.

After all, Passover week had been a great event in Jesus' life. He had
enjoyed the opportunity of meeting scores of boys about his own age, fellow
candidates for the consecration, and he utilized such contacts as a means of
learning how people lived in Mesopotamia, Turkestan, and Parthia, as well as
in the Far-Western provinces of Rome. He was already fairly conversant with
the way in which the youth of Egypt and other regions near Palestine grew
up. There were thousands of young people in Jerusalem at this time, and the
Nazareth lad personally met, and more or less extensively interviewed, more
than one hundred and fifty. He was particularly interested in those who
hailed from the Far-Eastern and the remote Western countries. As a result of
these contacts the lad began to entertain a desire to travel about the world
for the purpose of learning how the various groups of his fellow men toiled
for their livelihood.

3. Departure of Joseph and Mary

It had been arranged that the Nazareth party should gather in the
region of the temple at midforenoon on the first day of the week after the
Passover festival had ended. This they did and started out on the return
journey to Nazareth. Jesus had gone into the temple to listen to the
discussions while his parents awaited the assembly of their fellow
travelers. Presently the company prepared to depart, the men going in one
group and the women in another as was their custom in journeying to and from
the Jerusalem festivals. Jesus had gone up to Jerusalem in company with his
mother and the women. Being now a young man of the consecration, he was
supposed to journey back to Nazareth in company with his father and the men.
But as the Nazareth party moved on toward Bethany, Jesus was completely
absorbed in the discussion of angels, in the temple, being wholly unmindful
of the passing of the time for the departure of his parents. And he did not
realize that he had been left behind until the noontime adjournment of the
temple conferences.

The Nazareth travelers did not miss Jesus because Mary surmised he
journeyed with the men, while Joseph thought he traveled with the women
since he had gone up to Jerusalem with the women, leading Mary's donkey.
They did not discover his absence until they reached Jericho and prepared to
tarry for the night. After making inquiry of the last of the party to reach
Jericho and learning that none of them had seen their son, they spent a
sleepless night, turning over in their minds what might have happened to
him, recounting many of his unusual reactions to the events of Passover
week, and mildly chiding each other for not seeing to it that he was in the
group before they left Jerusalem.

4. First and Second Days in the Temple

In the meantime, Jesus had remained in the temple throughout the
afternoon, listening to the discussions and enjoying the more quiet and
decorous atmosphere, the great crowds of Passover week having about
disappeared. At the conclusion of the afternoon discussions, in none of
which Jesus participated, he betook himself to Bethany, arriving just as
Simon's family made ready to partake of their evening meal. The three
youngsters were overjoyed to greet Jesus, and he remained in Simon's house
for the night. He visited very little during the evening, spending much of
the time alone in the garden meditating.

Early next day Jesus was up and on his way to the temple. On the brow
of Olivet he paused and wept over the sight his eyes beheld — a spiritually
impoverished people, tradition bound and living under the surveillance of
the Roman legions. Early forenoon found him in the temple with his mind made
up to take part in the discussions. Meanwhile, Joseph and Mary also had
arisen with the early dawn with the intention of retracing their steps to
Jerusalem. First, they hastened to the house of their relatives, where they
had lodged as a family during the Passover week, but inquiry elicited the
fact that no one had seen Jesus. After searching all day and finding no
trace of him, they returned to their relatives for the night.

At the second conference Jesus had made bold to ask questions, and in
a very amazing way he participated in the temple discussions but always in a
manner consistent with his youth. Sometimes his pointed questions were
somewhat embarrassing to the learned teachers of the Jewish law, but he
evinced such a spirit of candid fairness, coupled with an evident hunger for
knowledge, that the majority of the temple teachers were disposed to treat
him with every consideration. But when he presumed to question the justice
of putting to death a drunken gentile who had wandered outside the court of
the gentiles and unwittingly entered the forbidden and reputedly sacred
precincts of the temple, one of the more intolerant teachers grew impatient
with the lad's implied criticisms and, glowering down upon him, asked how
old he was. Jesus replied, "thirteen years lacking a trifle more than four
months." "Then," rejoined the now irate teacher, "why are you here, since
you are not of age as a son of the law?" And when Jesus explained that he
had received consecration during the Passover, and that he was a finished
student of the Nazareth schools, the teachers with one accord derisively
replied, "We might have known; he is from Nazareth." But the leader insisted
that Jesus was not to be blamed if the rulers of the synagogue at Nazareth
had graduated him, technically, when he was twelve instead of thirteen; and
notwithstanding that several of his detractors got up and left, it was ruled
that the lad might continue undisturbed as a pupil of the temple
discussions.

When this, his second day in the temple, was finished, again he went
to Bethany for the night. And again he went out in the garden to meditate
and pray. It was apparent that his mind was concerned with the contemplation
of weighty problems.

5. The Third Day in the Temple

Jesus' third day with the scribes and teachers in the temple witnessed
the gathering of many spectators who, having heard of this youth from
Galilee, came to enjoy the experience of seeing a lad confuse the wise men
of the law. Simon also came down from Bethany to see what the boy was up to.
Throughout this day Joseph and Mary continued their anxious search for
Jesus, even going several times into the temple but never thinking to
scrutinize the several discussion groups, although they once came almost
within hearing distance of his fascinating voice.

Before the day had ended, the entire attention of the chief discussion
group of the temple had become focused upon the questions being asked by
Jesus. Among his many questions were:

1. What really exists in the holy of holies, behind the veil?
2. Why should mothers in Israel be segregated from the male temple
worshipers?
3. If God is a father who loves his children, why all this slaughter
of animals to gain divine favor — has the teaching of Moses been
misunderstood?
4. Since the temple is dedicated to the worship of the Father in
heaven, is it consistent to permit the presence of those who engage in
secular barter and trade?
5. Is the expected Messiah to become a temporal prince to sit on the
throne of David, or is he to function as the light of life in the
establishment of a spiritual kingdom?

And all the day through, those who listened marveled at these
questions, and none was more astonished than Simon. For more than four hours
this Nazareth youth plied these Jewish teachers with thought-provoking and
heart-searching questions. He made few comments on the remarks of his
elders. He conveyed his teaching by the questions he would ask. By the deft
and subtle phrasing of a question he would at one and the same time
challenge their teaching and suggest his own. In the manner of his asking a
question there was an appealing combination of sagacity and humor which
endeared him even to those who more or less resented his youthfulness. He
was always eminently fair and considerate in the asking of these penetrating
questions. On this eventful afternoon in the temple he exhibited that same
reluctance to take unfair advantage of an opponent which characterized his
entire subsequent public ministry. As a youth, and later on as a man, he
seemed to be utterly free from all egoistic desire to win an argument merely
to experience logical triumph over his fellows, being interested supremely
in just one thing: to proclaim everlasting truth and thus effect a fuller
revelation of the eternal God.

When the day was over, Simon and Jesus wended their way back to
Bethany. For most of the distance both the man and the boy were silent.
Again Jesus paused on the brow of Olivet, but as he viewed the city and its
temple, he did not weep; he only bowed his head in silent devotion.

After the evening meal at Bethany he again declined to join the merry
circle but instead went to the garden, where he lingered long into the
night, vainly endeavoring to think out some definite plan of approach to the
problem of his lifework and to decide how best he might labor to reveal to
his spiritually blinded countrymen a more beautiful concept of the heavenly
Father and so set them free from their terrible bondage to law, ritual,
ceremonial, and musty tradition. But the clear light did not come to the
truth-seeking lad.

6. The Fourth Day in the Temple

Jesus was strangely unmindful of his earthly parents; even at
breakfast, when Lazarus's mother remarked that his parents must be about
home by that time, Jesus did not seem to comprehend that they would be
somewhat worried about his having lingered behind.

Again he journeyed to the temple, but he did not pause to meditate at
the brow of Olivet. In the course of the morning's discussions much time was
devoted to the law and the prophets, and the teachers were astonished that
Jesus was so familiar with the Scriptures, in Hebrew as well as Greek. But
they were amazed not so much by his knowledge of truth as by his youth.

At the afternoon conference they had hardly begun to answer his
question relating to the purpose of prayer when the leader invited the lad
to come forward and, sitting beside him, bade him state his own views
regarding prayer and worship.

The evening before, Jesus' parents had heard about this strange youth
who so deftly sparred with the expounders of the law, but it had not
occurred to them that this lad was their son. They had about decided to
journey out to the home of Zacharias as they thought Jesus might have gone
thither to see Elizabeth and John. Thinking Zacharias might perhaps be at
the temple, they stopped there on their way to the City of Judah. As they
strolled through the courts of the temple, imagine their surprise and
amazement when they recognized the voice of the missing lad and beheld him
seated among the temple teachers.

Joseph was speechless, but Mary gave vent to her long-pent-up fear and
anxiety when, rushing up to the lad, now standing to greet his astonished
parents, she said: "My child, why have you treated us like this? It is now
more than three days that your father and I have searched for you sorrowing.
Whatever possessed you to desert us?" It was a tense moment. All eyes were
turned on Jesus to hear what he would say. His father looked reprovingly at
him but said nothing.

It should be remembered that Jesus was supposed to be a young man. He
had finished the regular schooling of a child, had been recognized as a son
of the law, and had received consecration as a citizen of Israel. And yet
his mother more than mildly upbraided him before all the people assembled,
right in the midst of the most serious and sublime effort of his young life,
thus bringing to an inglorious termination one of the greatest opportunities
ever to be granted him to function as a teacher of truth, a preacher of
righteousness, a revealer of the loving character of his Father in heaven.

But the lad was equal to the occasion. When you take into fair
consideration all the factors which combined to make up this situation, you
will be better prepared to fathom the wisdom of the boy's reply to his
mother's unintended rebuke. After a moment's thought, Jesus answered his
mother, saying: "Why is it that you have so long sought me? Would you not
expect to find me in my Father's house since the time has come when I should
be about my Father's business?"

Everyone was astonished at the lad's manner of speaking. Silently they
all withdrew and left him standing alone with his parents. Presently the
young man relieved the embarrassment of all three when he quietly said: "Come,
my parents, none has done aught but that which he thought best. Our Father
in heaven has ordained these things; let us depart for home."

In silence they started out, arriving at Jericho for the night. Only
once did they pause, and that on the brow of Olivet, when the lad raised his
staff aloft and, quivering from head to foot under the surging of intense
emotion, said: "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, and the people thereof, what slaves
you are — subservient to the Roman yoke and victims of your own traditions —
but I will return to cleanse yonder temple and deliver my people from this
bondage!"

On the three days' journey to Nazareth Jesus said little; neither did
his parents say much in his presence. They were truly at a loss to
understand the conduct of their first-born son, but they did treasure in
their hearts his sayings, even though they could not fully comprehend their
meanings.

Upon reaching home, Jesus made a brief statement to his parents,
assuring them of his affection and implying that they need not fear he would
again give any occasion for their suffering anxiety because of his conduct.
He concluded this momentous statement by saying: "While I must do the will
of my Father in heaven, I will also be obedient to my father on earth. I
will await my hour."

Though Jesus, in his mind, would many times refuse to *consent* to the
well-intentioned but misguided efforts of his parents to dictate the course
of his thinking or to establish the plan of his work on earth, still, in
every manner consistent with his dedication to the doing of his Paradise
Father's will, he did most gracefully*conform* to the desires of his earthly
father and to the usages of his family in the flesh. Even when he could not
consent, he would do everything possible to conform. He was an artist in the
matter of adjusting his dedication to duty to his obligations of family
loyalty and social service.

Joseph was puzzled, but Mary, as she reflected on these experiences,
gained comfort, eventually viewing his utterance on Olivet as prophetic of
the Messianic mission of her son as Israel's deliverer. She set to work with
renewed energy to mold his thoughts into patriotic and nationalistic
channels and enlisted the efforts of her brother, Jesus' favorite uncle; and
in every other way did the mother of Jesus address herself to the task of
preparing her first-born son to assume the leadership of those who would
restore the throne of David and forever cast off the gentile yoke of
political bondag

OWING to the uncertainties and anxieties of their sojourn in
Bethlehem, Mary did not wean the babe until they had arrived safely in
Alexandria, where the family was able to settle down to a normal life. They
lived with kinsfolk, and Joseph was well able to support his family as he
secured work shortly after their arrival. He was employed as a carpenter for
several months and then elevated to the position of foreman of a large group
of workmen employed on one of the public buildings then in process of
construction. This new experience gave him the idea of becoming a contractor
and builder after their return to Nazareth.

All through these early years of Jesus' helpless infancy, Mary
maintained one long and constant vigil lest anything befall her child which
might jeopardize his welfare or in any way interfere with his future mission
on earth; no mother was ever more devoted to her child. In the home where
Jesus chanced to be there were two other children about his age, and among
the near neighbors there were six others whose ages were sufficiently near
his own to make them acceptable play-fellows. At first Mary was disposed to
keep Jesus close by her side. She feared something might happen to him if he
were allowed to play in the garden with the other children, but Joseph, with
the assistance of his kinsfolk, was able to convince her that such a course
would deprive Jesus of the helpful experience of learning how to adjust
himself to children of his own age. And Mary, realizing that such a program
of undue sheltering and unusual protection might tend to make him
self-conscious and somewhat self-centered, finally gave assent to the plan
of permitting the child of promise to grow up just like any other child; and
though she was obedient to this decision, she made it her business always to
be on watch while the little folks were at play about the house or in the
garden. Only an affectionate mother can know the burden that Mary carried in
her heart for the safety of her son during these years of his infancy and
early childhood.

Throughout the two years of their sojourn at Alexandria, Jesus enjoyed
good health and continued to grow normally. Aside from a few friends and
relatives no one was told about Jesus' being a "child of promise." One of
Joseph's relatives revealed this to a few friends in Memphis, descendants of
the distant Ikhnaton, and they, with a small group of Alexandrian believers,
assembled at the palatial home of Joseph's relative-benefactor a short time
before the return to Palestine to wish the Nazareth family well and to pay
their respects to the child. On this occasion the assembled friends
presented Jesus with a complete copy of the Greek translation of the Hebrew
scriptures. But this copy of the Jewish sacred writings was not placed in
Joseph's hands until both he and Mary had finally declined the invitation of
their Memphis and Alexandrian friends to remain in Egypt. These believers
insisted that the child of destiny would be able to exert a far greater
world influence as a resident of Alexandria than of any designated place in
Palestine. These persuasions delayed their departure for Palestine for some
time after they received the news of Herod's death.

Joseph and Mary finally took leave of Alexandria on a boat belonging
to their friend Ezraeon, bound for Joppa, arriving at that port late in
August of the year 4 B.C. They went directly to Bethlehem, where they spent
the entire month of September in counsel with their friends and relatives
concerning whether they should remain there or return to Nazareth.

Mary had never fully given up the idea that Jesus ought to grow up in
Bethlehem, the City of David. Joseph did not really believe that their son
was to become a kingly deliverer of Israel. Besides, he knew that he himself
was not really a descendant of David; that his being reckoned among the
offspring of David was due to the adoption of one of his ancestors into the
Davidic line of descent. Mary, of course, thought the City of David the most
appropriate place in which the new candidate for David's throne could be
reared, but Joseph preferred to take chances with Herod Antipas rather than
with his brother Archelaus. He entertained great fears for the child's
safety in Bethlehem or in any other city in Judea, and surmised that
Archelaus would be more likely to pursue the menacing policies of his
father, Herod, than would Antipas in Galilee. And besides all these reasons,
Joseph was outspoken in his preference for Galilee as a better place in
which to rear and educate the child, but it required three weeks to overcome
Mary's objections.

By the first of October Joseph had convinced Mary and all their
friends that it was best for them to return to Nazareth. Accordingly, early
in October, 4 B.C., they departed from Bethlehem for Nazareth, going by way
of Lydda and Scythopolis. They started out early one Sunday morning, Mary
and the child riding on their newly acquired beast of burden, while Joseph
and five accompanying kinsmen proceeded on foot; Joseph's relatives refused
to permit them to make the trip to Nazareth alone. They feared to go to
Galilee by Jerusalem and the Jordan valley, and the western routes were not
altogether safe for two lone travelers with a child of tender years.

1. Back in Nazareth

On the fourth day of the journey the party reached its destination in
safety. They arrived unannounced at the Nazareth home, which had been
occupied for more than three years by one of Joseph's married brothers, who
was indeed surprised to see them; so quietly had they gone about their
business that neither the family of Joseph nor that of Mary knew they had
even left Alexandria. The next day Joseph's brother moved his family, and
Mary, for the first time since Jesus' birth, settled down with her little
family to enjoy life in their own home. In less than a week Joseph secured
work as a carpenter, and they were supremely happy.

Jesus was about three years and two months old at the time of their
return to Nazareth. He had stood all these travels very well and was in
excellent health and full of childish glee and excitement at having premises
of his own to run about in and to enjoy. But he greatly missed the
association of his Alexandrian playmates.

On the way to Nazareth Joseph had persuaded Mary that it would be
unwise to spread the word among their Galilean friends and relatives that
Jesus was a child of promise. They agreed to refrain from all mention of
these matters to anyone. And they were both very faithful in keeping this
promise.

Jesus' entire fourth year was a period of normal physical development
and of unusual mental activity. Meantime he had formed a very close
attachment for a neighbor boy about his own age named Jacob. Jesus and Jacob
were always happy in their play, and they grew up to be great friends and
loyal companions.

The next important event in the life of this Nazareth family was the
birth of the second child, James, in the early morning hours of April 2, 3
B.C. Jesus was thrilled by the thought of having a baby brother, and he
would stand around by the hour just to observe the baby's early activities.

It was midsummer of this same year that Joseph built a small workshop
close to the village spring and near the caravan tarrying lot. After this he
did very little carpenter work by the day. He had as associates two of his
brothers and several other mechanics, whom he sent out to work while he
remained at the shop making yokes and plows and doing other woodwork. He
also did some work in leather and with rope and canvas. And Jesus, as he
grew up, when not at school, spent his time about equally between helping
his mother with home duties and watching his father work at the shop,
meanwhile listening to the conversation and gossip of the caravan conductors
and passengers from the four corners of the earth.

In July of this year, one month before Jesus was four years old, an
outbreak of malignant intestinal trouble spread over all Nazareth from
contact with the caravan travelers. Mary became so alarmed by the danger of
Jesus being exposed to this epidemic of disease that she bundled up both her
children and fled to the country home of her brother, several miles south of
Nazareth on the Megiddo road near Sarid. They did not return to Nazareth for
more than two months; Jesus greatly enjoyed this, his first experience on a
farm.

2. The Fifth Year (2 B.C.)

In something more than a year after the return to Nazareth the boy
Jesus arrived at the age of his first personal and wholehearted moral
decision; and there came to abide with him a Thought Adjuster, a divine gift
of the Paradise Father, which had aforetime served with Machiventa
Melchizedek, thus gaining the experience of functioning in connection with
the incarnation of a supermortal being living in the likeness of mortal
flesh. This event occurred on February 11, 2 B.C. Jesus was no more aware of
the coming of the divine Monitor than are the millions upon millions of
other children who, before and since that day, have likewise received these
Thought Adjusters to indwell their minds and work for the ultimate
spiritualization of these minds and the eternal survival of their evolving
immortal souls.

On this day in February the direct and personal supervision of the
Universe Rulers, as it was related to the integrity of the childlike
incarnation of Michael, terminated. From that time on throughout the human
unfolding of the incarnation, the guardianship of Jesus was destined to rest
in the keeping of this indwelling Adjuster and the associated seraphic
guardians, supplemented from time to time by the ministry of midway
creatures assigned for the performance of certain definite duties in
accordance with the instruction of their planetary superiors.

Jesus was five years old in August of this year, and we will,
therefore, refer to this as his fifth (calendar) year of life. In this year,
2 B.C., a little more than one month before his fifth birthday
anniversary, Jesus was made very happy by the coming of his sister Miriam,
who was born on the night of July 11. During the evening of the following
day Jesus had a long talk with his father concerning the manner in which
various groups of living things are born into the world as separate
individuals. The most valuable part of Jesus' early education was secured
from his parents in answer to his thoughtful and searching inquiries. Joseph
never failed to do his full duty in taking pains and spending time answering
the boy's numerous questions. From the time Jesus was five years old until
he was ten, he was one continuous question mark. While Joseph and Mary could
not always answer his questions, they never failed fully to discuss his
inquiries and in every other possible way to assist him in his efforts to
reach a satisfactory solution of the problem which his alert mind had

Since returning to Nazareth, theirs had been a busy household, and
Joseph had been unusually occupied building his new shop and getting his
business started again. So fully was he occupied that he had found no time
to build a cradle for James, but this was corrected long before Miriam came,
so that she had a very comfortable crib in which to nestle while the family
admired her. And the child Jesus heartily entered into all these natural and
normal home experiences. He greatly enjoyed his little brother and his baby
sister and was of great help to Mary in their care.

There were few homes in the gentile world of those days that could
give a child a better intellectual, moral, and religious training than the
Jewish homes of Galilee. These Jews had a systematic program for rearing and
educating their children. They divided a child's life into seven stages:

1. The newborn child, the first to the eighth day.
2. The suckling child.
3. The weaned child.
4. The period of dependence on the mother, lasting up to the end of
the fifth year.
5. The beginning independence of the child and, with sons, the father
assuming responsibility for their education.
6. The adolescent youths and maidens.
7. The young men and the young women.

It was the custom of the Galilean Jews for the mother to bear the
responsibility for a child's training until the fifth birthday, and then, if
the child were a boy, to hold the father responsible for the lad's education
from that time on. This year, therefore, Jesus entered upon the fifth stage
of a Galilean Jewish child's career, and accordingly on August 21, 2 B.C.,
Mary formally turned him over to Joseph for further instruction.

Though Joseph was now assuming the direct responsibility for Jesus'
intellectual and religious education, his mother still interested herself in
his home training. She taught him to know and care for the vines and flowers
growing about the garden walls which completely surrounded the home plot.
She also provided on the roof of the house (the summer bedroom) shallow
boxes of sand in which Jesus worked out maps and did much of his early
practice at writing Aramaic, Greek, and later on, Hebrew, for in time he
learned to read, write, and speak, fluently, all three languages.

Jesus appeared to be a well-nigh perfect child physically and
continued to make normal progress mentally and emotionally. He experienced a
mild digestive upset, his first minor illness, in the latter part of this,
his fifth (calendar) year.

Though Joseph and Mary often talked about the future of their eldest
child, had you been there, you would only have observed the growing up of a
normal, healthy, carefree, but exceedingly inquisitive child of that time
and place.

3. Events of the Sixth Year (1 B.C.)

Already, with his mother's help, Jesus had mastered the Galilean
dialect of the Aramaic tongue; and now his father began teaching him Greek.
Mary spoke little Greek, but Joseph was a fluent speaker of both Aramaic and
Greek. The textbook for the study of the Greek language was the copy of the
Hebrew scriptures — a complete version of the law and the prophets,
including the Psalms — which had been presented to them on leaving Egypt.
There were only two complete copies of the Scriptures in Greek in all
Nazareth, and the possession of one of them by the carpenter's family made
Joseph's home a much-sought place and enabled Jesus, as he grew up, to meet
an almost endless procession of earnest students and sincere truth seekers.
Before this year ended, Jesus had assumed custody of this priceless
manuscript, having been told on his sixth birthday that the sacred book had
been presented to him by Alexandrian friends and relatives. And in a very
short time he could read it readily.

The first great shock of Jesus' young life occurred when he was not
quite six years old. It had seemed to the lad that his father — at least his
father and mother together — knew everything. Imagine, therefore, the
surprise of this inquiring child, when he asked his father the cause of a
mild earthquake which had just occurred, to hear Joseph say, "My son, I
really do not know." Thus began that long and disconcerting disillusionment
in the course of which Jesus found out that his earthly parents were not
all-wise and all-knowing.

Joseph's first thought was to tell Jesus that the earthquake had been
caused by God, but a moment's reflection admonished him that such an answer
would immediately be provocative of further and still more embarrassing
inquiries. Even at an early age it was very difficult to answer Jesus'
questions about physical or social phenomena by thoughtlessly telling him
that either God or the devil was responsible. In harmony with the prevailing
belief of the Jewish people, Jesus was long willing to accept the doctrine
of good spirits and evil spirits as the possible explanation of mental and
spiritual phenomena, but he very early became doubtful that such unseen
influences were responsible for the physical happenings of the natural
world.

Before Jesus was six years of age, in the early summer of 1 B.C.,
Zacharias and Elizabeth and their son John came to visit the Nazareth
family. Jesus and John had a happy time during this, their first visit
within their memories. Although the visitors could remain only a few days,
the parents talked over many things, including the future plans for their
sons. While they were thus engaged, the lads played with blocks in the sand
on top of the house and in many other ways enjoyed themselves in true boyish
fashion.

Having met John, who came from near Jerusalem, Jesus began to evince
an unusual interest in the history of Israel and to inquire in great detail
as to the meaning of the Sabbath rites, the synagogue sermons, and the
recurring feasts of commemoration. His father explained to him the meaning
of all these seasons. The first was the midwinter festive illumination,
lasting eight days, starting out with one candle the first night and adding
one each successive night; this commemorated the dedication of the temple
after the restoration of the Mosaic services by Judas Maccabee. Next came
the early springtime celebration of Purim, the feast of Esther and Israel's
deliverance through her. Then followed the solemn Passover, which the adults
celebrated in Jerusalem whenever possible, while at home the children would
remember that no leavened bread was to be eaten for the whole week. Later
came the feast of the first-fruits, the harvest ingathering; and last, the
most solemn of all, the feast of the new year, the day of atonement. While
some of these celebrations and observances were difficult for Jesus' young
mind to understand, he pondered them seriously and then entered fully into
the joy of the feast of tabernacles, the annual vacation season of the whole
Jewish people, the time when they camped out in leafy booths and gave
themselves up to mirth and pleasure.

During this year Joseph and Mary had trouble with Jesus about his
prayers. He insisted on talking to his heavenly Father much as he would talk
to Joseph, his earthly father. This departure from the more solemn and
reverent modes of communication with Deity was a bit disconcerting to his
parents, especially to his mother, but there was no persuading him to
change; he would say his prayers just as he had been taught, after which he
insisted on having "just a little talk with my Father in heaven."

In June of this year Joseph turned the shop in Nazareth over to his
brothers and formally entered upon his work as a builder. Before the year
was over, the family income had more than trebled. Never again, until after
Joseph's death, did the Nazareth family feel the pinch of poverty. The
family grew larger and larger, and they spent much money on extra education
and travel, but always Joseph's increasing income kept pace with the growing
expenses.

The next few years Joseph did considerable work at Cana, Bethlehem (of
Galilee), Magdala, Nain, Sepphoris, Capernaum, and Endor, as well as much
building in and near Nazareth. As James grew up to be old enough to help his
mother with the housework and care of the younger children, Jesus made
frequent trips away from home with his father to these surrounding towns and
villages. Jesus was a keen observer and gained much practical knowledge from
these trips away from home; he was assiduously storing up knowledge
regarding man and the way he lived on earth.

This year Jesus made great progress in adjusting his strong feelings
and vigorous impulses to the demands of family co-operation and home
discipline. Mary was a loving mother but a fairly strict disciplinarian. In
many ways, however, Joseph exerted the greater control over Jesus as it was
his practice to sit down with the boy and fully explain the real and
underlying reasons for the necessity of disciplinary curtailment of personal
desires in deference to the welfare and tranquillity of the entire family.
When the situation had been explained to Jesus, he was always intelligently
and willingly co-operative with parental wishes and family regulations.

Much of his spare time — when his mother did not require his help
about the house — was spent studying the flowers and plants by day and the
stars by night. He evinced a troublesome penchant for lying on his back and
gazing wonderingly up into the starry heavens long after his usual bedtime
in this well-ordered Nazareth household.

4. The Seventh Year (A.D. 1)

This was, indeed, an eventful year in Jesus' life. Early in January a
great snowstorm occurred in Galilee. Snow fell two feet deep, the heaviest
snowfall Jesus saw during his lifetime and one of the deepest at Nazareth in
a hundred years.

The play life of Jewish children in the times of Jesus was rather
circumscribed; all too often the children played at the more serious things
they observed their elders doing. They played much at weddings and funerals,
ceremonies which they so frequently saw and which were so spectacular. They
danced and sang but had few organized games, such as children of later days
so much enjoy.

Jesus, in company with a neighbor boy and later his brother James,
delighted to play in the far corner of the family carpenter shop, where they
had great fun with the shavings and the blocks of wood. It was always
difficult for Jesus to comprehend the harm of certain sorts of play which
were forbidden on the Sabbath, but he never failed to conform to his
parents' wishes. He had a capacity for humor and play which was afforded
little opportunity for expression in the environment of his day and
generation, but up to the age of fourteen he was cheerful and lighthearted
most of the time.

Mary maintained a dovecote on top of the animal house adjoining the
home, and they used the profits from the sale of doves as a special charity
fund, which Jesus administered after he deducted the tithe and turned it
over to the officer of the synagogue.

The only real accident Jesus had up to this time was a fall down the
back-yard stone stairs which led up to the canvas-roofed bedroom. It
happened during an unexpected July sandstorm from the east. The hot winds,
carrying blasts of fine sand, usually blew during the rainy season,
especially in March and April. It was extraordinary to have such a storm in
July. When the storm came up, Jesus was on the housetop playing, as was his
habit, for during much of the dry season this was his accustomed playroom.
He was blinded by the sand when descending the stairs and fell. After this
accident Joseph built a balustrade up both sides of the stairway.

There was no way in which this accident could have been prevented. It
was not chargeable to neglect by the midway temporal guardians, one primary
and one secondary midwayer having been assigned to the watchcare of the lad;
neither was it chargeable to the guardian seraphim. It simply could not have
been avoided. But this slight accident, occurring while Joseph was absent in
Endor, caused such great anxiety to develop in Mary's mind that she unwisely
tried to keep Jesus very close to her side for some months.

Material accidents, commonplace occurrences of a physical nature, are
not arbitrarily interfered with by celestial personalities. Under ordinary
circumstances only midway creatures can intervene in material conditions to
safeguard the persons of men and women of destiny, and even in special
situations these beings can so act only in obedience to the specific
mandates of their superiors.

And this was but one of a number of such minor accidents which
subsequently befell this inquisitive and adventurous youth. If you envisage
the average childhood and youth of an aggressive boy, you will have a fairly
good idea of the youthful career of Jesus, and you will be able to imagine
just about how much anxiety he caused his parents, particularly his mother.

The fourth member of the Nazareth family, Joseph, was born Wednesday
morning, March 16, A.D. 1.

5. School Days in Nazareth

Jesus was now seven years old, the age when Jewish children were
supposed to begin their formal education in the synagogue schools.
Accordingly, in August of this year he entered upon his eventful school life
at Nazareth. Already this lad was a fluent reader, writer, and speaker of
two languages, Aramaic and Greek. He was now to acquaint himself with the
task of learning to read, write, and speak the Hebrew language. And he was
truly eager for the new school life which was ahead of him.

For three years — until he was ten — he attended the elementary school
of the Nazareth synagogue. For these three years he studied the rudiments of
the Book of the Law as it was recorded in the Hebrew tongue. For the
following three years he studied in the advanced school and committed to
memory, by the method of repeating aloud, the deeper teachings of the sacred
law. He graduated from this school of the synagogue during his thirteenth
year and was turned over to his parents by the synagogue rulers as an
educated "son of the commandment" — henceforth a responsible citizen of the
commonwealth of Israel, all of which entailed his attendance at the
Passovers in Jerusalem; accordingly, he attended his first Passover that
year in company with his father and mother.

At Nazareth the pupils sat on the floor in a semicircle, while their
teacher, the chazan, an officer of the synagogue, sat facing them. Beginning
with the Book of Leviticus, they passed on to the study of the other books
of the law, followed by the study of the Prophets and the Psalms. The
Nazareth synagogue possessed a complete copy of the Scriptures in Hebrew.
Nothing but the Scriptures was studied prior to the twelfth year. In the
summer months the hours for school were greatly shortened.

Jesus early became a master of Hebrew, and as a young man, when no
visitor of prominence happened to be sojourning in Nazareth, he would often
be asked to read the Hebrew scriptures to the faithful assembled in the
synagogue at the regular Sabbath services.

These synagogue schools, of course, had no textbooks. In teaching, the
chazan would utter a statement while the pupils would in unison repeat it
after him. When having access to the written books of the law, the student
learned his lesson by reading aloud and by constant repetition.

Next, in addition to his more formal schooling, Jesus began to make
contact with human nature from the four quarters of the earth as men from
many lands passed in and out of his father's repair shop. When he grew
older, he mingled freely with the caravans as they tarried near the spring
for rest and nourishment. Being a fluent speaker of Greek, he had little
trouble in conversing with the majority of the caravan travelers and
conductors.

Nazareth was a caravan way station and crossroads of travel and
largely gentile in population; at the same time it was widely known as a
center of liberal interpretation of Jewish traditional law. In Galilee the
Jews mingled more freely with the gentiles than was their practice in Judea.
And of all the cities of Galilee, the Jews of Nazareth were most liberal in
their interpretation of the social restrictions based on the fears of
contamination as a result of contact with the gentiles. And these conditions
gave rise to the common saying in Jerusalem, "Can any good thing come out of
Nazareth?"

Jesus received his moral training and spiritual culture chiefly in his
own home. He secured much of his intellectual and theological education from
the chazan. But his real education — that equipment of mind and heart for
the actual test of grappling with the difficult problems of life — he
obtained by mingling with his fellow men. It was this close association with
his fellow men, young and old, Jew and gentile, that afforded him the
opportunity to know the human race. Jesus was highly educated in that he
thoroughly understood men and devotedly loved them.

Throughout his years at the synagogue he was a brilliant student,
possessing a great advantage since he was conversant with three languages.
The Nazareth chazan, on the occasion of Jesus' finishing the course in his
school, remarked to Joseph that he feared he "had learned more from Jesus'
searching questions" than he had "been able to teach the lad."

Throughout his course of study Jesus learned much and derived great
inspiration from the regular Sabbath sermons in the synagogue. It was
customary to ask distinguished visitors, stopping over the Sabbath in
Nazareth, to address the synagogue. As Jesus grew up, he heard many great
thinkers of the entire Jewish world expound their views, and many also who
were hardly orthodox Jews since the synagogue of Nazareth was an advanced
and liberal center of Hebrew thought and culture.

When entering school at seven years (at this time the Jews had just
inaugurated a compulsory education law), it was customary for the pupils to
choose their "birthday text," a sort of golden rule to guide them throughout
their studies, one upon which they often expatiated at their graduation when
thirteen years old. The text which Jesus chose was from the Prophet Isaiah:
"The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me; he has
sent me to bring good news to the meek, to bind up the brokenhearted, to
proclaim liberty to the captives, and to set the spiritual prisoners free."

Nazareth was one of the twenty-four priest centers of the Hebrew
nation. But the Galilean priesthood was more liberal in the interpretation
of the traditional laws than were the Judean scribes and rabbis. And at
Nazareth they were also more liberal regarding the observance of the
Sabbath. It was therefore the custom for Joseph to take Jesus out for walks
on Sabbath afternoons, one of their favorite jaunts being to climb the high
hill near their home, from which they could obtain a panoramic view of all
Galilee. To the northwest, on clear days, they could see the long ridge of
Mount Carmel running down to the sea; and many times Jesus heard his father
relate the story of Elijah, one of the first of that long line of Hebrew
prophets, who reproved Ahab and exposed the priests of Baal. To the north
Mount Hermon raised its snowy peak in majestic splendor and monopolized the
skyline, almost 3,000 feet of the upper slopes glistening white with
perpetual snow. Far to the east they could discern the Jordan valley and,
far beyond, the rocky hills of Moab. Also to the south and the east, when
the sun shone upon their marble walls, they could see the Greco-Roman cities
of the Decapolis, with their amphitheaters and pretentious temples. And when
they lingered toward the going down of the sun, to the west they could make
out the sailing vessels on the distant Mediterranean.

From four directions Jesus could observe the caravan trains as they
wended their way in and out of Nazareth, and to the south he could overlook
the broad and fertile plain country of Esdraelon, stretching off toward
Mount Gilboa and Samaria.

When they did not climb the heights to view the distant landscape,
they strolled through the countryside and studied nature in her various
moods in accordance with the seasons. Jesus' earliest training, aside from
that of the home hearth, had to do with a reverent and sympathetic contact
with nature.

Before he was eight years of age, he was known to all the mothers and
young women of Nazareth, who had met him and talked with him at the spring,
which was not far from his home, and which was one of the social centers of
contact and gossip for the entire town. This year Jesus learned to milk the
family cow and care for the other animals. During this and the following
year he also learned to make cheese and to weave. When he was ten years of
age, he was an expert loom operator. It was about this time that Jesus and
the neighbor boy Jacob became great friends of the potter who worked near
the flowing spring; and as they watched Nathan's deft fingers mold the clay
on the potter's wheel, many times both of them determined to be potters when
they grew up. Nathan was very fond of the lads and often gave them clay to
play with, seeking to stimulate their creative imaginations by suggesting
competitive efforts in modeling various objects and animals.

6. His Eighth Year (A.D. 2)

This was an interesting year at school. Although Jesus was not an
unusual student, he was a diligent pupil and belonged to the more
progressive third of the class, doing his work so well that he was excused
from attendance one week out of each month. This week he usually spent
either with his fisherman uncle on the shores of the Sea of Galilee near
Magdala or on the farm of another uncle (his mother's brother) five miles
south of Nazareth.

Although his mother had become unduly anxious about his health and
safety, she gradually became reconciled to these trips away from home.
Jesus' uncles and aunts were all very fond of him, and there ensued a lively
competition among them to secure his company for these monthly visits
throughout this and immediately subsequent years. His first week's sojourn
on his uncle's farm (since infancy) was in January of this year; the first
week's fishing experience on the Sea of Galilee occurred in the month of
May.

About this time Jesus met a teacher of mathematics from Damascus, and
learning some new techniques of numbers, he spent much time on mathematics
for several years. He developed a keen sense of numbers, distances, and
proportions.

Jesus began to enjoy his brother James very much and by the end of
this year had begun to teach him the alphabet.

This year Jesus made arrangements to exchange dairy products for
lessons on the harp. He had an unusual liking for everything musical. Later
on he did much to promote an interest in vocal music among his youthful
associates. By the time he was eleven years of age, he was a skillful
harpist and greatly enjoyed entertaining both family and friends with his
extraordinary interpretations and able improvisations.

While Jesus continued to make enviable progress at school, all did not
run smoothly for either parents or teachers. He persisted in asking many
embarrassing questions concerning both science and religion, particularly
regarding geography and astronomy. He was especially insistent on finding
out why there was a dry season and a rainy season in Palestine. Repeatedly
he sought the explanation for the great difference between the temperatures
of Nazareth and the Jordan valley. He simply never ceased to ask such
intelligent but perplexing questions.

His third brother, Simon, was born on Friday evening, April 14, of
this year, A.D. 2.

In February, Nahor, one of the teachers in a Jerusalem academy of the
rabbis, came to Nazareth to observe Jesus, having been on a similar mission
to Zacharias's home near Jerusalem. He came to Nazareth at the instigation
of John's father. While at first he was somewhat shocked by Jesus' frankness
and unconventional manner of relating himself to things religious, he
attributed it to the remoteness of Galilee from the centers of Hebrew
learning and culture and advised Joseph and Mary to allow him to take Jesus
back with him to Jerusalem, where he could have the advantages of education
and training at the center of Jewish culture. Mary was half persuaded to
consent; she was convinced her eldest son was to become the Messiah, the
Jewish deliverer; Joseph hesitated; he was equally persuaded that Jesus was
to grow up to become a man of destiny, but what that destiny would prove to
be he was profoundly uncertain. But he never really doubted that his son was
to fulfill some great mission on earth. The more he thought about Nahor's
advice, the more he questioned the wisdom of the proposed sojourn in
Jerusalem.

Because of this difference of opinion between Joseph and Mary, Nahor
requested permission to lay the whole matter before Jesus. Jesus listened
attentively, talked with Joseph, Mary, and a neighbor, Jacob the stone
mason, whose son was his favorite playmate, and then, two days later,
reported that since there was such a difference of opinion among his parents
and advisers, and since he did not feel competent to assume the
responsibility for such a decision, not feeling strongly one way or the
other, in view of the whole situation, he had finally decided to "talk with
my Father who is in heaven"; and while he was not perfectly sure about the
answer, he rather felt he should remain at home "with my father and mother,"
adding, "they who love me so much should be able to do more for me and guide
me more safely than strangers who can only view my body and observe my mind
but can hardly truly know me." They all marveled, and Nahor went his way,
back to Jerusalem. And it was many years before the subject of Jesus' going
away from home again came up for consideration.

Henning Kemner from 2010TheCountdown videos, has been talking about this same thing for at least a couple of months now. He has several video’s out on this subject covering other earthquakes that happened while the X37 was in orbit flying over the affected areas, so this is nothing new.

I think the x37 might be “powered” or “propelled” using frequency manipulation.. they don’t admit this, but (in my opinion) why wouldn’t they use HAARP in conjunction with this craft.. or at least some form of ground based frequency manipulation, the chinese have admitted their “meridian (chinese haarp) can move objects in space… if theirs can.. so can ours!

Money Created "Out of Thin Air"

We hope this brief essay stimulates your thoughts with respect to how money is created - a secret all investors should know.

Money is created in two ways: First, money creation comes from borrowing it and spending it. (Money is literally borrowed and spent into existence.) Second, it can simply be printed up "out of thin air" by a central bank. The U.S. economy and other modern economies have central banks and fiat currencies. Central banks have two major powers. They can 1) "peg" the nominal level of short-term interest rates, and 2) purchase assets such as government debt, with newly printed money. When the central bank pegs short-term interest rates at a low level, it greatly encourages corporate and individual borrowing and spending.

For the past decade, most money has been created through private sector borrowing and spending. However, the day is fast approaching when the private sector's new borrowing will not create enough new money to keep servicing the already massive level of old debt. Central banks will need to step up their efforts to "print money out of thin air". Central bank printing of new money is accomplished by purchasing government debt or other assets.

Clearly, there has been substantial money growth since 2000. Moreover, neither the crash of the NASDAQ stock market, or the last recession, has slowed down money growth. The fact that the Fed cut interest rates 13 times since 2000 - reducing them to a 46 year low - has a lot to do with the massive amount of borrowing that has taken place in the United States.

The amount of net borrowing in the United States is quite impressive, particularly when you consider the old economic model when borrowing was limited to simply recycling savings. In 2003, the savings rate was 2 percent of GDP, while net credit market borrowing was well in excess of 20 percent of GDP. There has been a whole lot of borrowing and spending of new money going on!

Certain asset classes, such as financial assets and housing, have benefited the most by this credit and money creation. For instance, because the mortgage market has been willing to finance any and all mortgages, the credit creation process has allowed both new mortgage debt and the ability to pay for higher housing prices. These higher housing prices have, in turn, allowed for the funding of larger mortgages. Money creation in the private sector tends to concentrate in certain asset classes that facilitate the creation of new credit. This new credit lends itself to new spending, leaving behind new money as the residual, and a growing mountain of debt. To say that this process has been left to run wild is an understatement.

Indeed, it's time to think "Bubble" in stocks, bonds and housing. A rational investor understanding the credit creation process would have played the resulting upward momentum in asset prices for all they were worth!

However, the world is changing. The central banks are already printing vast quantities of new money, making 2004 a "watershed" year. In the general price level, due to the creation of new money borrowed into existence, inflation is starting to leak through.

If one examines individual incomes and corporate cash flows, you will realize the U.S. economic system can not service the mountain of private debt that has already been created at higher nominal interest rates. This watershed year could turn into a cliff side waterfall unless money growth keeps increasing to encourage the growth in personal and corporate incomes. Inflation is needed to push up cash flows to service old debt.

Without inflation, there remains a massive risk of deflation. If old debt is paid down, or forgiven in bankruptcy, money that has been previously created will vanish from whence it came. If the money and debt goes, asset prices will crumble. Many intellectual writers have logically concluded that rising interest rates will cause a "deflationary debt collapse" as interest rates rise. Certainly, a rise in interest rates to more normal levels will be painful and will cause some financial distress. Moreover, a rise in interest rates tends to slow the private money creation process. So, some questions remain unanswered. Where will enough money come from to keep the U.S. economy liquid and solvent? Where will the massive amounts of new money come from to service the debt mountain?

Let's not forget that central banks can create new money with a few strokes at a computer keyboard to purchase whatever assets they wish. The Federal Reserve can create any volume of money it needs to keep the economy servicing both old and new debts. It seems virtually certain that the Fed, and other friendly central banks, will print as much new money as they need to because "inflation tomorrow is better than a collapse of the financial system today".

Since the U.S. Treasury is running a $450 Billion deficit and a 5 percent trade deficit, central banks have actually begun the "Great Money Printing". In the past 12 months, global central banks have created about $800 Billion worth of new money (as measured by the increase in world central bank reserves). This is what the Federal Reserve Governor, Ben S. Bernanke, lovingly calls "Helicopter Money".

Foreigners already hold almost 40 percent of marketable U.S. Treasury debt. The Asian central banks have increased their holdings of U.S. assets to about $1 Trillion. In the relay race of money creation, 2004 is the year when the baton of money creation has already been handed from the private sector to the world's central banks!

Wide open money spigots in the private economy have a habit of financing "asset price bubbles". Since the prices of bubble assets (stocks, bonds and housing) are not included in the price indexes that measure inflation, the inflationary consequences of new money growth can be ignored. As central banks inject money growth directly into their respective economies by buying assets such as United States treasury bonds with Helicopter Money, it is impossible to totally conceal the fact that there is more money chasing the same number of goods. Inflation happens!

The massive trade and budget deficits in our country have acted as an "excuse" for friendly foreign central banks to do much of the needed money printing that would normally be done by the Federal Reserve. Our trade deficit gives companies in foreign countries dollars in exchange for their exports. Our treasury deficit gives foreigners the opportunity to buy our U.S. treasury debt with the dollars. Any foreign central bank can then swap their local currency with companies holding dollars and buy U.S. treasury debt! It's all so simple! New money has been created, just not in our country!

For instance, the Central Bank of China is creating new money by buying U.S. treasuries with our trade deficit. This has helped to drive up their domestic inflation rate to 5 percent a year!

Until just recently, even the Japanese have been suffering from mild deflation and may not have the economic capacity to buy unlimited quantities of our treasuries. Japan is already flooding their economy with fresh Yen out of thin air, as they finance their own government deficit. Japan is currently running a 7-8 percent fiscal deficit and their savings rate has been dropping. Japan's national debt is 140% of GDP and is rising rapidly. The Japanese bond market faces a serious risk of price collapse as their interest rates start to rise. Therefore, Japan can not be counted on to finance both their government deficit and our deficit for much longer.

Very soon it will be incumbent on our Federal Reserve to crank up the domestic U.S. printing press. It is one thing when your neighbor's central bank floods their country with newly printed money buying U.S. Treasury debt. It is quite another when the Federal Reserve flood's America with Helicopter Money by buying massive amounts of U.S. Treasuries.

As inflation comes, interest rates will be forced up. Rising interest rates certainly hurt the owners of old low-coupon bonds. Moreover, rising interest rates have never been the stock market's friend. Rising interest rates are the declared enemy of housing prices. Indeed, rising inflation in the general price level is the enemy of all those wonderful bubble markets. Rising inflation and falling asset prices will turn the world of investing upside down!

The extremely large number of money exchanges that occurs each day all over the earth form a highly complex web that is very resistant to analysis. However it must be understood that the basic rules of money creation that govern these exchanges are quite simple, and can be readily understood by the average layman. How money works is not complex, even tho the web of financial exchanges can become very complex indeed.

How does money work? What values does it reward? Let us first review how it evolved. As we follow this history we can trace the values that are characteristic of different money systems.

Money evolved from barter, and the limits of barter, as society grew and became anonymous, so we will start with a short history of this evolutionary process. In barter, two traders trade equal value of their services or commodities. There are two limitations in barter. First, the two traders must have, and want to trade, products or services of equal value. Second, as society grows and becomes anonymous, they must both be ready to make the trade at the same time, as the trust of the small group no longer exists. Currency and money developed to deal with these two limitations.

Currency came into use first. It was a simple extension of barter. A commodity was chosen that could be divided into pieces and held for trading at a later date. Gold and silver have more recently been the favorite choices for currency, tho early on, livestock, grain, pieces of fired clay, beads, and even humans were used. All these commodities proved difficult to store and carry. Many deteriorated over time. Even gold and silver proved to be bulky to carry for larger transactions. Another major limitation of currency was its limited supply. As more or less trading occurred in a growing economy, there was no convenient way to increase or decrease the supply of currency.

Modern money developed from the trade of goldsmithing at the end of the middle ages. At that time people began storing their excess gold and silver with the local goldsmith for safekeeping. When gold or silver was put in storage, a receipt was issued by the goldsmith to the owner, as a record of ownership. The paper receipts were much easier to carry than the gold or silver, especially for larger transactions, so they began to be used instead of the precious metal itself.

Then the enterprising goldsmiths figured out that they could loan out the gold they held for their customers, to third parties. Or better yet, they could issue receipts instead of actually loaning the gold. The next step was recognizing that they could print more receipts and make even more loans than they held in gold. In the idea of loaning the value of gold they did not own, but only held in trust, and the value of gold that did not even exist, was the germ of the invention of modern money.

As long as not everyone wanted to redeem their receipts and loans for gold at one time, this system created by the goldsmith/bankers did facilitate trade when there was a shortage of the commodity, gold, which was used as currency. The fact that the goldsmiths provided an adequate money supply made possible the industrial revolution. Meanwhile, the goldsmith/bankers had a good thing going. They were receiving interest by loaning the gold assets that they were being paid to hold in trust for others, and additional interest from loans based on gold that did not even exist.

However, the system was not perfect. When economic conditions changed or trust in this shell game waned, there were bank runs, and people lost their money and their gold as a result. If a goldsmith could not come up with enough gold to satisfy all claims to redeem receipts for gold at a given time, the system broke down. Banks are the modern successors to the goldsmiths. The way they operate is basically the same, although money can no longer be redeemed for gold; it is now only a token or medium of exchange.1

A brief historical note on the role of religion: The fact that Jews were not allowed to own land in most areas of Europe in the period of the Renaissance, an agricultural era, led members of that faith into entrepreneurial businesses. A small minority of that group got into the goldsmithing business. Catholics were not at that time allowed to charge interest, so these Jews found a lucrative niche in the lending of gold, and then money with interest. They became a major force in the Industrial Revolution as they became influential bankers, with the power to bankroll, or not bankroll, any given entrepreneurial or governmental venture. The families of these early Jewish bankers are still a major force in the banking business, which is the small kernel of truth that justifies the anti-Semitic behavior of right wing conservatives to themselves and their constituency.

So with this brief history, I will go over the definitions of some basic terms, and then explain how money is now created and extinguished. (Yes, Dorothy, money is created and extinguished with the wave of a wand, or at least the wave of a pen, or the hand on computer keys.)

DEFINITIONS OF BASIC TERMS

In this paper, I will not use the terms consumer and producer. Rather I will use the word trader, to acknowledge the fact that we are all both consumers and producers, (or dependent on someone who is), and combine these two functions in trade--as traders. Businesses and governments are group entity traders.

Wealth is anything valued by the economic system. It can be traded by barter, currency or money. When monetized, wealth becomes assets. More on this later.

Currency is a concentrated form of wealth used in trading. Currency is some kind of commodity that has a sufficiently universal appeal that it can be held, and traded later for whatever good or service its owner chooses.

Money is a purely abstract accounting concept. Pieces of paper or coins may be created to represent the value of money, but they are only tokens that represent value, not value itself.

At another level, money is simply information‑‑universal executive information. Money gives its holder the power to execute whatever plans he or she desires. It is an accounting system that allows traders to keep track of who has bought and sold how much, and whether each individual trader has put as much into the system s/he has taken out.

Since it is purely abstract, money can be created in any amount deemed appropriate by its creators. How it is created and extinguished is one of the issues I am attempting to clarify in this paper. The social values built into its creation become basic social values of the economy and culture of which it is a part. It is important to know what these values are.

This set of definitions for money may fly in the face of common knowledge about the way money works. The following description will show how and why it is in fact valid.

HOW MONEY IS CREATED AND EXTINGUISHED

The matter of money creation is poorly understood. There is a common misconception that banks or governments create money. Governments only borrow money into existence from the banks. Banks can and do manage and redistribute money and wealth. Only people and natural resources represent potential wealth. Only people can, by their labor, produce useful wealth, which can be traded, either 1) directly by barter, 2) thru the use of currency, or 3) thru the creation of money. Remember, all people who buy or sell, i.e. are producers or consumers, are traders.

Money is created when a trader makes a commitment, by buying goods or services from other traders, to place goods or services in the marketplace of equal value in the future.

In making purchases, traders borrow against their future production if they do not currently have a trading surplus. Money is created as evidence of that debt. Putting goods and services back on the market repays the debt, and extinguishes the money. In other words, money is borrowed into existence, and is extinguished as the loan is repaid. The effective lender, or guarantor of a loan is all the traders who trade with the borrower‑‑in short‑‑the community; the market.

This is how money is created, and extinguished. The stability of a money issue, then, is only tangentially related to any assets that might guarantee it.

The stability of a money issue is related solely to the willingness and ability of the vast majority of the community of traders to put goods or services on the market which have equal value to what they consume. The stability of an economy is a function of the commitment of traders to the rules of the system. Trust, that by and large, all members of the market will produce as much as they consume and be able to trade what they produce for what they want to consume, is the only ultimate guarantee of any money issue.2

The fact that useful wealth/assets are created by people who wish to trade has to be recognized and acknowledged by the creators and operators of banks and monetary systems, as well as all the rest of us. While natural resources are sources of wealth, they are not themselves wealth until they are made useful, and brought into the market as commodities by the labor of traders. For example, ore in the ground is not of value until it is mined, refined, and made into a form or object by a person or group of people, that others will trade for in the market. Even land is not useful in economic terms until it is used in some economic way.

The appropriate function of banks, based on this understanding of how money works, is to act as clearinghouses ‑‑clerks or trustees ‑‑ who keep track of the transactions between traders. The Local Exchange and Trading system, or LETSystem, developed in the Comox Valley of British Columbia more than 20 years ago, and duplicated with variations in communities in the US, England, Australia, new Zealand, and other countries, as well as Canada, is one prototype example of such a basic banking system.

In the LETSystem, each trader starts with a zero balance in their account. The expectation is that the balance should stay near zero, tho it may vary above or below. All bank income is based strictly on earned fees for book‑keeping services rendered, on a fee for service basis. A small fee is charged to cover the bookkeeping expense of each transaction.

The money of this system is simply an exchange medium, with no secondary value. The system is functionally balanced in its operation by the traders. The money supply automatically adjusts itself to the number and amounts of commitments that members have made to each other. The bank balance of anyone buying is open knowledge to the seller, who can decide not to sell to someone who is not pulling their weight; buying more than they are selling (borrowing from the people with whom they trade by carrying a large negative balance).

If a community using such a system sees that it would benefit from a project that would require a relatively large sum of money, it can commit itself as a community to one or a group of its members, giving them a line of credit (permission to temporarily operate with a large negative balance) to complete the project. This is what banks do now in making loans.

The principle of assuring that all budgets stay balanced (all account balances remain near zero, or return to zero) must be built into the structure of any monetary system, if it hopes to be stable over time. It is not built into our present monetary system.

FUNCTION OF THE CURRENT ECONOMIC SYSTEM

In order too understand our present economic system we first need to look at the relationship between government and economics/business. It is not commonly recognized that governments, large or small, are businesses, companies which by definition include (are "owned" by) all the citizens of the community in which they are situated. Governments have historically been given a number of functions (or in the case of autocratic forms, have assumed a number of functions) that are not permitted to private companies. These functions have included setting rules of behavior (laws) and enforcing these rules with judges and police, providing water and sewer services, building and maintaining roads, and education. This cannot obscure the fact that governments are businesses, but ones with special functions, rights, and responsibilities.

Like all companies, governments must have income to pay for their expenses; the products and services they supply. They do so with a combination of taxes and fees. (Taxes are assessments on all citizens, and/or their property, used for services perceived as needed by all, fees are charges for products or services, based on the amount of product/service rendered.) For instance in the US, fire and police protection, courts, education, military defense, and the building and maintenance of streets and roads are generally considered to be universal needs for which it is appropriate to levy taxes. Fees are charged for specific products or services such as water and sewers.

Private businesses rely similarly on fees (sales) and taxes (a case can be made that basic fees for utilities and telephone services are a tax, as the same amount is charged, no matter how much the service is used). In addition, a significant number of private firms rely on government payments funded by taxes for income.

Private businesses that are granted a monopoly, or which hold a virtual monopoly in a given service or industry, have two characteristics in common with government businesses. Like government, 1) they serve all members of the community who want their good or service, and 2) they are the citizen's only recourse for their goods or services. A number of industries operate as monopolies. The banking system is a notable example. Since deregulation, there is some competition for what is offered. But what is offered is limited and channeled by the basic values and rules built into the structure of the industry, as determined by the laws regulating the industry, which were written by banking interests.3

Just like the simple exchange system described above, money in our present system is borrowed into existence, either by the commitment of traders or governments. However in our system, money is given intrinsic value that increases over time according to market conditions. It is created (borrowed into existence) with a "load" or tax, called interest, which must be paid to the institution that mediates its creation.

In our present economy, the banks‑‑which have a government licensed monopoly to mediate the money creation process‑‑get the credit for creating money.4 The rules of the licensing process give these banks the right to place a charge‑‑compound interest‑‑on the process. In our economy we have given the immediate risk in money creation to the mediator‑‑the bank‑‑in return for compound interest. The long term risk of catastrophic failure is still held by the market; witness the bailout of savings and loans in the 80's with taxpayer money.

The way the process works is as follows: A commercial bank, savings and loan, or credit union can, within limits of reserves set by the Federal Reserve Bank, accept assets (goods or property) pledged by a trader as collateral, set up an account which represents a portion of the value of the assets pledged, create a sum in the trader’s account (the wave of the wand, mentioned previously), and give the money so created to the trader or the trader’s payee. This is how the process of converting wealth to assets works in our present money system. The trader pledges assets, and the bank permits the creation of money, which must be returned to the bank (the mediator), with interest, to free the asset pledge. If in the meantime the borrower cannot make payments, the bank takes the assets pledged.

While banks are generally credited with the creation of money, it is still the traders who go to the bank to borrow who are making the commitment to place goods or services on the market to repay their debt. So, as mentioned above, traders are still the functional creators of money, rather than the bank. As these traders place their goods and services on the market, and repay their loans, the money they issued (borrowed) is extinguished.

However as also noted above, when the loan is originated, and the money created, an additional debt, or tax is set up as interest on the loan, which must be paid to the bank mediating the money creation process. Interest creation is a functional glitch in the system, one which must be understood. When money is created in the current loan process, money with which to pay the interest is not created. Interest owed is only set up as a debt to the bank. No money is created to pay it with. As a result of this bookkeeping system the principle put into circulation is insufficient to repay the principal and interest owed. So either the trader uses money that someone else borrowed to pay his interest, or he does not pay all the principal and interest.

In the first case, someone else is in a worse position to make their payments. In the second case this trader is drawn into a downward spiral of debt. No matter how hard we try, somebody always has to lose. Because money is not created with which to pay interest, interest can never all be paid. Because traders have to pay out interest, they never have enough money for all their needs. Scarcity of money drives up prices, meaning money becomes worth less, which we call inflation.

Economic growth masks the inflation issue, by bringing in new wealth to borrow on (monetize), creating more money with which to pay the ever increasing interest tax load. In the current system, the economy must continually grow so that there is sufficient money available to keep the system operating. This system flaw caused by interest creation is the reason why economists commonly see the need for an economics of growth, rather than sustainable, dynamic steady state (homeostatic) economics.

Total outstanding interest and total current interest due and payable increase exponentially over time. In other words, as time goes on, outstanding debt becomes larger and larger with respect to the sum of all exchanges, what we call Gross National Product ‑‑ (GNP) the productive capacity of our nation. Because the overall interest load grows exponentially, it inevitably grows to be a larger and larger part of GNP. As the interest load becomes a significant portion of GNP, the system breaks down, because an ever larger portion of money is going to pay the growing interest load. A recession or depression is necessary in which some of the debt, and its interest load, is wiped out thru unpayable debts and bankruptcies. Sometimes smaller banks even fail, if too many of their clients are forced into losses and foreclosure.5

Bankruptcies and bad debts move control of wealth to those who control assets and the money creation process. In the long term, inevitably all the money becomes concentrated in the hands of a very few people who control the money creation process, and the economy and culture disintegrate. This was one of the major factors that led to the disintegration of the cultures of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome.6

The Federal government (remember, the business owned by all the people) has often been forced to become borrower of last resort, borrowing from the banks to bring enough money into circulation to prevent major depression and mass foreclosures. It is called deficit spending. But nothing has been done to prevent the systemic exponential growth of interest and debt, which is the driving mechanism, leading to the failure. Meanwhile, Government borrowing to create money to maintain the economy has created a ballooning government debt.

In the early and mid 90’s there was an increase in individual debt, largely due to the increasing use of credit cards, taking some of the debt load off the federal government. The entry of the former Soviet Union and China into the international market has also opened new growth markets and, more importantly, assets to be monetized and borrowed upon to temporarily sustain the appetite for growth of the international money system.

In the late 90's private debt increased in the US to the point that the Federal Government thought it was going to be able to pay off the national debt. But as the economy has slowed down, the government gave away its surplus, and consumer spending and debt has been insufficient to meet the demand for an increased money supply, it is becoming evident that Government debt is not going away, and on the contrary is increasing again.Those who would balance the Federal budget and reduce the Federal deficit under the present money creation ground rules do not recognize that their goal is simply not feasible. If the government stops its continued borrowing and balances its budget, and private borrowing does not take up the slack, the money supply will be so drastically shrunk that there will not be enough money to pay interest (or principle) on outstanding private debt, and the economy will go into a tailspin. This happened in 1836-37 after President Andrew Jackson paid off almost all the federal debt. The ground rules of money creation must be changed.

As noted above, our Federal Government creates money by borrowing from the Federal Reserve Bank. The Federal Reserve Bank is an interesting institution. Its board of governors is appointed by the President, with confirmation by the Senate. However its stock is owned, and the governors are paid, by the banks. Major decisions are developed by the Open Market Committee of the Federal Reserve, with concurrence of the Board of Governors. The Open Market Committee is chosen by the Board of Governors. The Board of Governors consists of bankers and economists who are knowledgeable of and favorable to banking interests, so the Federal Reserve is effectively controlled by the banking industry.

The Federal Reserve Bank holds, by law, a licensed monopoly from the Federal Government on money management, and can "create" money, at will, without asset backing, at whatever interest rate it deems appropriate. It attempts to manage the money supply by central control, the function handled by individual traders in self managed systems such as the LETSystem. Since the government does not put up any assets as collateral for its borrowing from the Federal Reserve Bank, it is trust that the government (i.e. all the citizens) will repay government loans and the interest on them that keeps the money system alive.

RELATING ECONOMICS TO ECOSYSTEMS

The earth is an ecosystem, and the rules of economics are important rules of the human factor of ecosystem operation. One of the major lessons to be gained from ecosystem study is that the control mechanisms of natural systems are at the individual and small group level. Ecosystems only set limits on subsystem activities as they are incongruent with ecosystem sustainability. Ecosystem power is not the power of setting policy and actively managing megasystems. It is only the veto power of extinction and system breakdown if individuals, subgroups or subsystems behave in ways that are destructive to themselves and/or the larger system.

If a banking/monetary system hopes to emulate natural ecosystem function, it must leave control of policy at the individual and community levels, with only a veto function, based on criteria of ecosystem sustainability, at larger geographic levels. As a bonus, an advantage of local policy setting is that failures are smaller, and more easily dealt with. Failures of large systems are generally much more difficult to deal with. Failure of megasystems is almost invariably catastrophic. Specifically, failure of the US, and/or world banking system would be catastrophic for all the earth's citizens.

Communities, as well as governments, are economic units or "businesses". So communities must also balance their imports and exports, or they will go out of business. If more money goes out of a community than comes in, it will wither and die. The demise of small towns in rural America is a classic example of not heeding the balanced budget concept. The demise of the Roman Empire is another, which has strong implications and parallels with our current national government's fiscal position. Locally issued money is one method of keeping tabs on the imports and exports of a community. Some such mechanism must be put in place if the value of community, national, and world stability is to be attained.

The organizational philosophy that drives our government business is democracy. However a look at the organizational chart of any bank or business corporation shows that it is the same as that of a dictatorial government. In fact banks and business corporations are operationally oligarchies, operated by and for those who control them; their large investors and top managers. The values and atmosphere of dictatorship created by these businesses has spilled over into the political business of government, making government less democratic ‑‑ diluting democratic values.

Specifically, the decision making “value filter” of business and banking is presently marketability for a profit for those who control the business. A more democratic filter would be ecological sustainability and human fulfillment. The latter filter can be built into the function of a monetary and business system, but will require major restructuring of banking laws, and laws governing the formation and operation of businesses. Attempts to regulate non-democratic institutions are destined for failure. Only by requiring that economic institutions be democratic, do we have a chance for political democracy to continue. While this is a most politically contentious issue, we must deal with it if our culture is to survive.

DIRECTIONS CONSISTENT WITH ECOSYSTEM VALUES

The only way to reduce total debt and the federal debt is to recognize the instability of our money system, and change it in such a way that there is no load on the creation of money; that money managers work on a competitive fee for service basis, on earned income only, and that the money supply is self regulated at the local level by traders who are aware of the balances of other traders, including government and business entities, with whom they trade.

To understand why this is necessary we must bring up another value issue. A portion of the interest charged by the bank is used to pay its operating expenses. This portion is functionally earned income. The remainder is paid as profit to the bank owners. This portion is functionally unearned income. In the case of traders lending to each other, the principal is not created, however interest is charged, and often with a large portion of interest being functionally unearned income. Thus interest creation constitutes an energy transfer system from those who produce to those who control money, which complicates economics both politically and morally.

The unearned portion of interest is a “tax” on borrowing, paid to the lender. As such, a secondary function of money creation--and all borrowing under the present rules--is that of a private social security or welfare system, funded by the “tax” (interest) on traders who have a negative balance in their accounts, and paid to those who have positive balances and those who mediate the money creation process.

The operation of the system systematically increases positive balances and bank assets at the expense of those who have negative balances. These ground rules make the economic playing field tilted in favor of those who create money or have built up positive money balances, and against those with negative account balances. The greater the balance, or money creating potential, the greater the tilt. Generally, the productive sector is where negative balances are held, so the monetary system systematically taxes the productive sector and moves this money to the non‑productive sector living on the interest tax.

While we quite rightly value savings, to pay interest on savings and investments is a practice that must be questioned.

However in taking such action we must concurrently deal with the issue of a safety net for those who depend on the tax derived from the present money system. We need to ask anew questions about our system of social security, welfare, and insurance. At present we have two welfare systems, one public, the other private. The interest paid on the use of money constitutes a vast privately operated and controlled welfare system. Anyone can, by controlling a quantity of money or wealth, or by becoming an owner of a bank, provide themselves with unearned income, without work, and without diminishing their assets.

When interest is removed as an aspect of the definition of money creation, these people will be limited in their spending ability to the assets they have accumulated and products or services they currently produce. Especially in the case of retired lower and middle class savers, this would have a serious adverse effect on their living standard. An alternate retirement income system for current savers/investors is a legitimate issue that must be dealt with in any transition to a non‑taxing monetary system. On the other hand, because governments (and productive businesses) will have no interest load to pay, enormous amounts of money will become available for such human centered problems.

Every community and country will have to deal with how it wishes to work out the social welfare issue, within the confines of community sustainability. There is no right answer for all communities and cultures.

There are a number of possible ways to deal with this issue. One would be to offer open ended reverse mortgages (based on capital value only). Another would be to expand the public tax based social security network. A third would be to offer retirement income insurance. A fourth would be to expect every family or community to take care of its own (as was done by all cultures before anonymity and individuality became the norm). Some mix of savings (private welfare, utilizing principal, rather than interest), public taxation (social security), private taxation (retirement insurance), and/or self care, can, I believe, be agreed upon. The insurance industry will be as fundamentally effected as the banking industry, and will require major restructuring.

The values that drive our basic money and economic institutions, must be studied publicly, and made consistent with our democratic political values if we wish to continue as a democratic culture. As a part of this analysis, all sources of private unearned income must be analyzed for their effect on the economy. They must all be recognized as taxes on the transactions of which they are a part. In addition, we must recognize, as a practical matter, that as long as the present system continues, money will migrate to whatever person or institution maximizes unearned income, concentrating ownership in the hands of those who already control quantities of it, an anti‑democratic function.

That unearned income is an income redistribution mechanism is a reality. That this redistribution is unhealthy for our economy is a value judgment, based on a knowledge of its antidemocratic effects. If we do not make such value judgments consciously, we make them without conscious thought by continuing with the status quo. The results are becoming disastrous. Democracy cannot survive under the present conditions. Our economy cannot survive either.

A major step in dealing with the present reality is to acknowledge that the present system systematically redistributes money, based on possession of money and/or control of the money creation process.

There is reason to be upbeat in terms of approaching those who control the present system with respect to the necessity for positive change. Members of the wealthy elite value stability, and they can be shown that the present system is inherently unstable, and that it is in their best interest to promote change to a more stable system for them, their children and grandchildren. They, and we all, have two options; change or economic chaos. The status quo is not long for this world.

What do you and I want? What can we do to work for an economic and monetary system that is more representative of democratic values?

Recommendations - Conclusions

We need to move (very carefully and deliberately) toward a time when at least three aspects of our economy are based on sustainable - and democratic - values. The first is a conversion to the creation of money on a fee for service basis, rather than with the current interest load. This will get rid of the present situation where there is never enough money in the creative sector because of the constant money migration to the finance sector inherent in interest-based money.

Freeing the productive sector to be productive, and be paid fully for its productivity has the potential to unleash a great deal of economic creativity. An additional advantage of fee for service money is that the economy is not forced to constantly grow in order to remain viable. Also with the recognition that traders - citizens - create money, and are the appropriate arbiters of who should be allowed to create how much money, will come a recognition of community responsibility in determining the directions of community development.

A second requirement for sustainability is to stabilize the value of the monetary unit. The basic engine of the economy is that traders are willing to spend their time and effort producing products and/or services for others in return for the services and products produced by the time and effort of others. So a unit of time and effort is the logical choice for the unit of economic value. The hour is the standard measuring unit of time. The hour of effort is therefore a logical choice for the monetary unit. It is already used by some alternative money systems. The hour gives both the buyer and seller an intuitive measure of the worth - the value - of a transaction. And an hour never changes in size. It is therefore not prone to inflation.

There will inevitably be some variation in the value of an hour’s work based on effort, skill, education, special abilities, cost of equipment, and the hazardous or undesirable nature of some tasks, among other things. On the other hand, it is doubtful that the great discrepancies that occur today would continue under a more democratic economic system. As an example, the special status of those whose task is coordination of activities (management in current terms) will probably become much less, as business is democratized, and coordination becomes more diffuse. It will be interesting to watch what happens in monopoly businesses, such as medicine, where the number of practitioners is presently limited by the medical education system to maintain a high income level for those practitioners.

A third sustainability value is that the stewardship responsibility of ownership of any asset must be seen as at least as important as the right to exploit that asset. Again, how to codify this rights/responsibility equation in the case of the ownership of assets must be worked out at the community and country levels, within the limits of ecosystem and community viability. Small scale experiments and innovations can be watched and analyzed by other communities to see if they apply to their situation.

The value of ones unlimited right to the use of personal property is deeply ingrained in our culture. Some will say that land and resources have value without man's labor and that therefore some aspects of the above definitions and theories of money are misplaced or invalid. This brings up a basic value question. Bluntly, the question reduces to "Does the Earth belong to us?" or "Do we belong to the earth?" In the first case, the earth is appropriately divided up and used for the satisfaction of the owner of each portion. In the second case, the earth is a gift or legacy to be respected and used but preserved in the process for future generations and times.

This question can be answered either way. I can only give my reasoning for taking the stand I take; that we belong to the earth. There are at least two basic kinds of arguments, one practical, the other philosophical.

The practical argument is that the idea of dividing up the earth is no longer serving the survival of the earth or our species. Anyone who persists in believing that the earth belongs to us must deal with the fact that this belief has been the value base for money and economic systems that have led to the downfall of all the major western cultures. (See again 6) It has led to an ethic in which the removal of resources from the earth has become a personal right of the owner of that piece of the earth, with no thought as to the social or ecological ramifications of that removal either now or for succeeding generations. This ethic has led, in all the major historic western cultures, to degradation of air and water and erosion and salt buildup in the soil, to a point where these resources could no longer support a healthy human population, leading to the demise of the string of world cultures listed earlier here. All these cultures broke down as a result of this environmental stress, coupled with the unrest created when wealth was concentrated, and the majority of citizens had only debt, and no stake in the future of the culture.

The philosophical argument is one of anthropocentrism ‑‑ the idea that humans are the end all and be all of creation, and that we have power and dominion over that creation. This idea is increasingly being questioned as we see how small a part of the created universe we are. This small planet called Earth, circling an average star, which is only one of a billion stars that make up one of a billion galaxies isn't the control center of the universe. It is hard to imagine us little creatures, living on the thin solid shell of this molten glob, as the “end all” of the scheme of the whole cosmos, or the power that controls it all -- or even our own planet.

Following the value that we belong to the Earth will require rethinking the rules of ownership, stewardship, responsibility, and control. As earth citizens we need to consider the Lockean proviso which states that everyone has a right to take of the earth so long as there is enough and as good left for the others (and I would add both now and in the future to accentuate ecosystem sustainability over time) and the Papal proviso that a person has a right to own only that which s/he personally uses.

Since some individuals, communities and regions are blessed with more than their share of earth and/or personal assets, there is also a need to consider how, in at least some voluntary way, those who are blessed with more, have a stewardship and sharing responsibility toward those whose ecosystems and social systems are less blessed. Such aid must be given with great respect toward the integrity of the individuals, the social systems and the ecosystems that receive them, as well as those which give.

The alternatives before us are basic change or failure to survive. The quicker we recognize this basic equation, the easier it will be to make the transition. The longer we take, the more limited and difficult will our choices be. What can I do, and what can you do to make the transition? A feature-length documentary film is released that suggests the 9/11 attacks were planned and implemented by people within the US government. The film, called Loose Change, is made by three men in their twenties from upstate New York: Dylan Avery, Korey Rowe, and Jason Bermas. The three are “Entirely self-taught, and without a single journalistic qualification between them beyond a couple of media courses Jason sat at college ” Avery, the film’s writer and director, had begun work on it when he was just 18. [VANITY FAIR, 8/2006; GUARDIAN, 1/26/2007] The original version of Loose Change is released in April 2005. In response to advice and criticism, an updated “2nd Edition” comes out in January 2006. [SALON, 6/27/2006] The London Daily Mail describes the film as “a blitz of statistics, photographs pinched from the web, eyewitness accounts and expert testimony, all set to hip-hop music. And it is dramatically changing the way people think about 9/11.” [DAILY MAIL, 2/9/2007] Some of Loose Change’s key allegations are:
The World Trade Center towers were in fact brought down as a result of a “carefully planned controlled demolition.”
Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon. Hani Hanjour, its alleged terrorist pilot, lacked the flying skills necessary to make the difficult maneuver supposedly made by this flight. Instead, the building looked more like a missile had hit it.
Flight 93 did not crash in a field in Pennsylvania. The debris field showed nothing resembling a crashed airplane. Instead, it landed at Cleveland Hopkins Airport, after this had been evacuated.
Cellphone calls made from the hijacked planes were in fact staged. The film refers to a study that claims phones wouldn’t get cellular signals at high altitudes.

The documentary is hugely popular. By early 2007, an estimated 100,000 copies of it on DVD will have been sold and about 50,000 copies given away free. An unknown number of duplicates will have been given out, due to the makers’ encouragement of viewers to burn their own copies and pass them on. Up to 50 million people will see it when it is shown on television in 12 countries on the fifth anniversary of 9/11. Millions more watch it for free over the Internet. Vanity Fair says Loose Change “just might be the first Internet blockbuster.” [VANITY FAIR, 8/2006; GUARDIAN, 1/26/2007] The film also receives some harsh criticism. Canadian journalist Gwynne Dyer calls it “pure paranoid fantasy.” [NEW ZEALAND HERALD, 3/8/2007] British left-wing journalist George Monbiot calls it “a virus sweeping the world” that “infects opponents of the Bush government… and turns them into gibbering idiots.” He claims, “Read some conflicting accounts, and Loose Change’s case crumbles faster than the Twin Towers.” [GUARDIAN, 2/6/2007] Some skeptics of the official 9/11 account are also critical, and while agreeing that the US government was behind 9/11, disagree with many of Loose Change’s specific claims. We've been taught to assume the truth about everything presented to us without questioning the origin of the initial facts. For example, in the United States, we were taught that the attack on Pearl Harbor brought the United States into WW2, yet were not taught how many United States companies profited from funding both sides of the war, nor we we taught how George W. Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush, personally helped to fund both sides of WW2. Had we been taught this in school, would either George H. or George W. Bush have become president? I doubt it, but that's how propaganda has affected us as a global civilization.

With that in mind, what thoughts do you question? Here are a few of mine:

1. What are our true origins and where did we come from?

2. Explain how the differences in this planet’s races evolved. Some say mankind originated in the Middle East or in Africa, and then people migrated, causing the change in skin color. Perhaps that would explain skin color, but explain the facial differences of people from Asian decent and how this would be a biological change from evolution. Is it possible that we were ALL seeded here instead of Darwin’s theory of evolution?

	TRIVIA: If man evolved from ape, then why are there still apes?

3. If the bible dates our existence to approximately 4,000 BC, then how do people explain the pyramids on the Giza plateau, which date back to over 10,000 years ago?

4. Who built the underwater pyramids in the China Sea, which are estimated to be 12,000 years old?

5. Somehow, we went from homo habilis to homo erectus to homo sapien without any gradual changes in between lineages. How do you explain the lineage of mankind?

6. What are the true meanings behind these pictures?

7. How did cultures from other continents come up with the same December 21, 2012 end date without any means to communicate with one another?

8. Why did we go from a naturally harmonic lunar calendar (similar to the Mayan calendar) to the current and inharmonious Gregorian calendar?

20. The Roman Catholic Church removed the Books of Enoch from the bible, which stated all will be revealed in this present world. He also mentioned a wondrous civilization in the past that misused the keys of higher knowledge (presumably Atlantis). Why were these writings eliminated from the bible and why did the bible neglect to mention of previous civilizations?

21. Is it possible that the December 21, 2012 end date is a reference point to the end of a time matrix in which a particular agenda must be accomplished, e.g. either New World Order or ascension?

22. Why do we work 8+ hours each day to support the elite? Was this part of our true divine reason for incarnating here or is it to distract us from that reason?

GS: You’re listening to the Investigative Journal. I’m your host, Greg Szymanski. Two hours – two hours with great interviews all the time. We get into the news behind the scenes that the mainstream media refuses to cover. What a shame.

Let me just update some things before I tell you who my guest is today. I’ve been promo-ing it all week, and we’re going to get deep inside the Family, the Order, the Illuminati today, for two hours. And you’ve got to stay with us from the beginning to the end of this interview.

I just wanted to mention we had Dr. Martini on earlier in the week. A big aspartame vote, to ban aspartame in New Mexico, is going on today. I called her last night. They held it over until today. So we’ll know later this morning whether aspartame is banned in New Mexico. That could have a chain effect that could really save a lot of lives.

Also, I wanted to mention the bulldozing in New Orleans. Now this is a story on my website. You can go to www.arcticbeacon.com, and you’re going to see this story. This is an incredible story we’ve been following, with Brandon Darby from Common Cause Relief down there. A New Orleans federal judge, a crooked order here, folks, last Friday quashed all hopes for Ninth Ward residents to get their day in court as he indiscriminately canceled a January 17th hearing to hear evidence on why the city has no right to demolish homes under eminent domain laws.

Basically what he did is that there was supposed to be a hearing this week. There was a restraining order to stop the indiscriminate bulldozing of over 44 thousand homes in the Ninth Ward, many of which, Brandon says, are in good shape. Needless to say, they do not need to be demolished. But the people are a long, long, long way away from New Orleans, kept away by these FEMA programs that we’ve documented.

Brandon says now what happened is the judge called the lawyers in, canceled the hearing, and said,

“Listen, you’re going to take my orders, which are this. Both lawyers are going to adhere to this. You can demolish the homes as long as you give the people notice.”

So it doesn’t matter if they object, apparently, just as long as they know their home is going to be bulldozed down, and that’s what the city is doing right now. So we’ll keep track of that story as it goes on this week.

Now, on my website all week, I’ve been running this series on the feared Illuminati. That word started to be used back in the 18th century. There are other words – the Family, the Order, for people that are inside this group. So let’s not get hung up on the words. What this group does is amazing.

GS: Okay, we’re back. It’s eight minutes after the hour, and we’re going to get deep inside the Illuminati, the Family, the Order. We have a guest who was involved with this group, born into it, for over thirty years. Her name is Svali. Svali, are you with us?

SV: Uh, yes I am.

GS: Well, it’s nice to have you here. I know you don’t give radio interviews, and I really want to thank you, because I think it really does help the American people understand about this secret organization that you were born into. So I guess we can just start from the beginning. Tell us – right from the beginning you were born into this, from wealthy parents. Tell us about your training in this group when you were a young child and then up until your orientation at the Vatican. Go ahead.

SV: (surprised, laughing) Well, that’s a pretty broad area, Greg! That could take hours, if you know what I mean.

GS: Yes, but do it, you know, if you could just outline it for us.

SV: Yeah. I mean, I was born in the group, I was born in Germany, and came to the US very young. I basically went through all the training that the group… all members of the group do undergo training to various degrees, depending on the role.

By the time I was a teenager, I was a youth leader, and by the time I was 22, I became the youngest member of Leadership Council in San Diego County . At that time I was a head trainer. I was the sixth trainer and eventually moved up to the second position.

GS: Mm hm.

SV: When I was twelve, I had mentioned with you the ceremony at the Vatican…

GS: Right.

SV: …that they really do make all leadership in the group undergo at some point.

GS: Now basically when you were growing up, I remember you told me that you were instilled at a young age. You were born to a very wealthy, well-to-do family.

SV: Yes.

GS: You moved back to the States. You were told at a very young age you were special, you were “chosen.” Correct?

SV: Well, they tell everyone in the group that they are special and chosen, and that’s one of the things that made me very cynical when I was older. You will never meet a person who is an Illuminati who has not been told or programmed for years that they’re special, they’re the only one that can do things for quote-unquote “Family”.

But I was told, yes, I would do great things for Family one day. The reason why I can filter some of this with an objective view is that I know what my role in the group was. It was over quite a significant number of other people. So I don’t evaluate my role or specialness within the group so much by what I was told, but by what I did.

(regretful downturn in voice on “what I did”)

GS: So you reached the age of 12, and then you’re told by your parents you’re going to an induction ceremony in the Vatican.

SV: Yes.

GS: Can you tell us how that happened and what occurred at that ceremony when you went there?

SV: (deep breath, voice becomes stressed) Okay. Um, this isn’t easy to talk about, as you know.

When I was twelve, I was flown over to Germany. And I was at, I’ll call them the German Fathers’ house, over there. And, there was some preparation for a few days, beforehand, and I was told that there would be a very important ceremony. And it was considered a sealing ceremony at that point. And basically I was told a little bit about what I was expected to do during the ceremony.

When we got there, we went through the Vatican. Underneath the Vatican there is a large room that I described to you when we talked before. It has 13 catacomb chambers leading into it. And what they do is as you go down these steps into the room, you can see that it’s circular, so they’re all rounded. They bring out the mummies from the catacombs. And they set them beside each one [each of the 13 catacomb chambers], and they say “That’s the spirit of the Fathers watching over the ceremony.”

During the ceremony, there was a large table in the center of the room. It was on top of this huge golden pentagram. They had a ceremony there.

GS: So how many kids, how many other children were with you being inducted into the Family or the Order, as they call it?

SV: There were two other children at that point. But there were several adults too.

GS: Okay.

SV: See, the Church also brings in adults to swear their allegiance, too, just so you know. I was told, and I don’t know if this is true, that if you want to rise to a certain position within the Catholic Church hierarchy, you do have to go through that ceremony as well.

GS: Okay, so you’re down in this room. Your parents weren’t present.

SV: No. No. The German Father and the French Father were.

GS: Okay, and at that point tell our listeners what you witnessed.

SV: (pause, additional voice stress) Well, there was a table. It looked like dark glass in the center of the room. It was made out of a stone, but it was very shiny and darkened black. It may have been something like obsidian or onyx, I’m not sure. This was the only time I’ve seen stone like that.

Around the corners it had these gold channels that, you know, collect fluids. A little boy was placed in the center of the table and drugged. I think he was drugged, because he was very quiet. He didn’t move or say anything.

GS: This was a little three or four-year-old boy, right?

SV: Yes. Yeah. Yeah.

GS: Then they continued to do a child sacrifice.

SV: Yes, they did. Yes. I told you about that before. Yeah.

GS: Now afterwards, quite, what an unbelievable experience for a youth, a 12-year-old. What went through your mind when that happened?

SV: I was terrified! I mean, I was absolutely horrified. I… I… I… I can’t describe the terror you feel when you go through something like that.

GS: And do you remember the words they were saying as this was going on?

SV: (pause) The man was in scarlet – he was speaking in Latin. And basically he was saying, “Please accept the sacrifice on this day.” And then he said, “This sacrifice will seal the ceremony.” And then he did it.

Again, I was so terrified that… (sighs) Have you ever been in a situation where your heart’s racing, but you can’t do anything? You’re just kind of sitting there, and you’re kind of fading in and out?

GS: Well, I can remember as a youth being frightened, but I don’t think I’ve ever…

SV: (crosstalk) No. All right.

GS:… had anything quite like what you’ve had.

SV: Imagine your heart rate going up to about 220. You can’t move. You’re kind of shaking, but you’re trying not to show it.

GS: Mm hm.

SV: It was horrible. Actually, I keep thinking inside, “I can’t wait ’till it’s over. I can’t wait.” You don’t say this, but inside you’re just saying over and over, “I can’t wait ’till this is over. I can’t wait ’till this is over. I can’t wait ’till it’s over.”

GS: Mm hm.

SV: Afterwards, the man in scarlet, he had a huge golden ring on his hand. He came over to the center of the room. Each of the people that were swearing that day had to go forward and kneel before him and kiss his ring, and swear my allegiance to the New Order, to the New World Order for all… until my death.

GS: Hm. Now at that point you were escorted out.

SV: Yes. Yeah. After the ceremony was all over. I mean, the other people also did theirs as well. They had to swear their allegiance too.

GS: And they were the same age as you?

SV: The two children were, but there were also three adults that went forward and did the same. And afterwards, we were told, (slowly and precisely): “May the same to you or worse occur should you ever break this oath.”

GS: Hm. So it’s basically… whew! Imagine at that age, what [this would do]. And you weren’t really prepped for this, were you? You were told there was a ceremony, but you didn’t expect anything like this, from what I’ve gathered talking to you.

SV: It was very difficult to go through, just because the sense of horrific oppression down there was the worst I’ve [ever felt.] I’ve gone through some ceremonies in my life in the Illuminati, you do go through them. But I have to say that in my experience this was the worst, just because… I can’t explain the amount of darkness in that room. It was just pure evil. And unless you’ve ever been in a… seen a person… it was just horrible.

It wasn’t just what happened, but just… I mean, the oppression. And I’m a Christian now, and I know the difference between when there is evil present – oppression – or when God’s love is present, which is joy and peace. That’s the exact opposite of what there was in that room.

GS: Now you know what I find quite interesting about this? About 25 years ago, I was a reporter and a freelance writer in Rome, and I spent six years there. I walked through the Vatican many, many times… hundreds of times. I covered the papal addresses, things like that.

During that time I was there during a Vatican scandal, which involved the Church bank and other things… members of the Illuminati, the Freemasons. I was approached by a woman, Maria Vendital (ph), and I’ll never forget this. Rome’s a small town. People knew I was covering stories about the secret societies, things like that. I had to ask people.

Well, this woman came up to me and told me similar stories. She wasn’t quite as specific because she couldn’t handle it without breaking out crying, and tried to commit suicide twice because she couldn’t get out of the Illuminati. She was a member, born into it from a very wealthy northern Italian family. She told me basically the same ceremony took place with her.

And so, when I started talking to you, I wanted to relay that to you, and also to relay to my listeners that I also heard about this, 25 years ago, from a woman by the name of Maria, and several other people in Italy that I talked to. I was never able to locate or really, probably for my own safety, ever find out what happened.

But again, Svali’s corroborating a story that I heard about 25 years ago. We’ll get back after the break with this incredible story of a member who is now out of the Illuminati, out of the group and safe, on the Republic Broadcasting Network.

GS: Okay, we’re back on the Investigative Journal. I’m your host, Greg Szymanski. We’re talking to Svali, a member of the Family, the Order, the Illuminati, for thirty years.

Svali, you leave the induction ceremony. You walk out into the Vatican courtyard with one of the fathers, I believe. What did he tell you then?

SV: At that point he just told me to never forget. He told me that I had performed well during the ceremony because I didn’t scream or pass out or anything like that. He said “You did very well,” and he was pleased. Then we stayed at a home nearby. It must have been a local person. I didn’t know them. We spent the night there before we went back to Germany.

GS: Okay, and what about the other people during the ceremony. How did they handle themselves? Do you remember?

SV: (sighs) I’m going to say, unfortunately, I was so… when you’re in that kind of situation, the last thing you’re thinking about sometimes is what the other people are doing. (Laughs) I was just so trying not to lose it myself. I do know that no one screamed or shouted or anything like that. Everyone was quiet. I think to say ‘dead silence,’ is, unless the person was spoken to, true – or unless they had to go forward and kiss the ring.

GS: All right, let’s move on. I think we’ve, uh…

SV: Yeah.

GS: A question I’ve wanted to ask you, and this is such a wide subject. I’ve had a chance to talk to you for a number of days, and I’ve done some stories about it.

You go back home, you’re twelve years old. You say you were schooled in the twelve disciplines.

SV: Yes.

GS: So your life begins, and you know now you’re in some type of organization that is very different than what most people experience. Tell us… I guess what I want to do is leave it open to you to begin. You’ve written so in-depth on this story. I’m just going to give you the microphone and let you begin. Tell the listeners what you think is important about your original training, about the group and about many things that I know people want to know about the Illuminati. Go ahead.

SV: Okay. Well Greg, first I want to say that my purpose in talking about this is not to glorify evil. There are very wicked people out there, very powerful people. I don’t want to at all magnify their power, but I do want people to know that this is real. These people exist. People who say there are people out there that are involved in these activities… it really happens.

I also, because I know that there are children being hurt in the group every day, and that’s my motivation for coming forward.

I don’t like giving interviews for obvious reasons. I am willing this one time to lay aside my privacy and personal safety because these people need to be stopped. They need to be stopped.

GS: Okay. SV: Okay? GS: Go ahead.

SV: Normally children in the group are born into it. The Illuminati very rarely does outside recruitment. That’s not their main method. It’s just passed down generally, generationally from father to son, and mother to daughters to children. And so the whole family line has been in it.

Throughout the centuries people have tried to escape, but a lot of times they were either poisoned, murdered or set up to look like a suicide. They don’t like it when people leave, and they try to make it very difficult – simply because it looks bad. (slight laugh)

They go through an enormous amount of training, from the time they are an infant. You undergo indoctrination. And when I say indoctrination, I don’t just mean like cult programming so much as watching your parents and seeing what they do.

My parents modeled their behavior. To them the group was very important for growing up. I saw that three times a week, everything was dropped to tend to the activities. Okay?

GS: Okay.

SV: Basically the training process is designed to help you take on your adult role in the group. The Illuminati cover so many levels there too. It goes all the way from what most people think of as a satanic coven type thing, at the very low local level, all the way through… it’s a huge, enormous business corporation.

At the mid-levels, you have people overseeing finances and administration, who are overseeing… I mean, these people are making a LOT of money through gun running, through white slavery, prostitution, pornography. They have links and ties to the Mafia, left and right. And, in fact the mafia are afraid of them. (Laughs)

GS: Hm.

SV: Yeah. (Laughs): Well, think about it! Because they know that you don’t cross the members of the group. They have a very spiritual orientation. They are not satanic, though; they are Luciferian, which is different.

The ultimate goal of their spiritual philosophy and their sense of discipline is they believe that should you complete all of your training, you become a god. That is their actual end goal. They believe in the achievement of Godhood – of Illuminist philosophy – through what they call Enlightenment, or Illumination, which is how they got their name.

GS: Mm hm.

SV: They are international. In Europe there are twelve fathers who sit, who represent the different nations of Europe. They are very expectantly awaiting He Who Is To Come, and during that ceremony in the Vatican, (bumper music starts) on my knees I had to swear my allegiance to serve He Who Is To Come. They believe that the coven…

GS: Svali, can you, uh, I have to take a break.

SV: Sure.

GS: We’ll continue with the massive organization, your role as a mid-level person in the Illuminati on the Republic Broadcasting Network.

GS: Okay, we’re back on the Investigative Journal, and I’m talking with Svali. Svali, why don’t we just pick it right up where we left off at the break. You were telling us about this hierarchy that starts with twelve fathers. Can you just run that down for us so people know exactly how this group is organized?

SV: Sure. At the top levels, it’s in Rome. That’s the power center or the heart of the Illuminati, where the power base is. And that’s why all leadership must swear fealty in Rome, because that’s considered the core of, the spiritual center of the Universe. That’s how they view it.

From there, in Europe there are twelve fathers – one for each country in Europe. When I was younger I had to also meet with the fathers at one point and kiss the ring, and go through another ceremony of allegiance to them as well.

In the Illuminati, the European Fathers rule over what are called the different houses. For instance, if you are from Germany then you belong to the German House, if you are from France you belong to the French House – they call them Houses. UK, Russia, Poland, Belgium, Spain, Italy and others.

From there, America was considered a mission field for them. In the 17, actually in the 1600s, Pittsburgh became the first port of entry for them. That’s where they first settled. That’s why it’s still considered a spiritual power base for the group on the East Coast in the US.

GS: You know, I did want to mention one thing. A caller / listener / reader of your stories sent me an email, and said, “Greg, check into the reason why President Bush, right after being elected, went into and talked to a Masonic group there.” I found that quite interesting.

SV: Oh yeah.

GS: Go ahead.

SV: It’s the spiritual power base for the group. From there, it spread out across the Atlantic seaboard, and then throughout the nation. The nation is divided into many regions, multiple regions but seven main regions. The East Coast region has its spiritual power base in Pittsburgh, but the administrative power base is in Alexandria, Virginia. That’s where they administer the finances during the day to day operations.

The West Coast, or the West region, west of the Mississippi, has its power base in the San Diego area.

GS: And that’s where you spent a lot of time, correct?

SV: Yeah. Yes. I was sent from, the Alexandria Council sent me to San Diego to help them out.

GS: Okay, go ahead.

SV: Those are the two, of course, main regions. And then each of those regions are divided into sub-regions.

So then you have your Regional Councils sitting over those, and overseeing activities. If you can think of the structure of a large multinational corporation, that’s really how the Illuminati is structured. Then beneath each of the regional councils are your local councils. They call them sister groups or sisters, or your local councils. Then you have your local groups under those as well, or what they call the sister groups.

Any major metropolitan city could have anywhere from five to fifteen groups, depending on the size of the population base. Or more.

GS: Now you were saying that, how many people are in this group in America now, from your estimate, of knowing a lot of this stuff? Go ahead…

SV: Pure Illuminati, I would say about one percent, give or take, based on population.

GS: So it’s a fairly huge… big organization, correct?

SV: Yes.

GS: Now their goal, basically. Just give us the broad overview goal, and then I want to get into some of these, you know, your role in it, and some of these ways that the Illuminati makes money that you learned about.

SV: Yeah.

GS: Go ahead.

SV: You know, when you say “To rule the world,” it almost sounds laughable – like “yeah, right”, you know. I think people get ideas of thinking or wanting to rule the world. But really, that is their goal. They believe that they are the intelligent leaders, and they believe that the rest of the world are sheep that need wise… They see themselves as wise leadership. So they believe that their goal is to rule the world.

GS: Mm hm.

SV: But at the same time, they have occult ways of doing that. Their main way of doing that is behind the scenes. They believe in infiltration of the media, of education and of government – those are the three areas – and of the financial system. And they have successfully done quite a bit of all four throughout Europe and the US, as well as other countries.

GS: Now you said that they, basically the Illuminati is divided into about six or seven groups, and everyone is born into a group. Could you outline what those groups are?

SV: Well no, it’s all one group, there are just different levels.

GS: Yeah, that’s what I mean. Like the Sciences, the Government, or…

SV: Oh. Oh. Okay. The Illuminati is divided into different branches of learning. These branches include Sciences, Military, Government, Leadership, Scholarship and Spiritual. Those are the six branches of learning. And while all children need to undergo some training or teaching in each area, as they get older… They begin profiling you from infancy, and they know where your activities and abilities are. Then you’re, you really go into… Most people specialize in one branch or possibly two branches of learning.

GS: And you were involved in what branch?

SV: I was heavily involved in Sciences, and also to some degree I did some Spiritual as well – but mainly Sciences.

GS: Just to backtrack one minute, these twelve disciplines. As a child, you were rigorously trained in this, correct?

SV: Yes.

GS: Okay. And what were those disciplines?

GS: I mean, if… You don’t have to go through each one of them, but what primarily were you taught?

SV: (pause) I think the best way would be to give you an example of just one type of training that they do.

GS: Okay.

SV: I was two years old. I was left in a room for probably a 24-hour period. When you are that age it is hard to estimate, but it was a long time. I know that the sun did go around (laughs) at least once, and it wasn’t just like a few hours.

At that age, when you are two and you are left alone without food and water, you are terrified. And at the end of the time, I was just dying of thirst. My morale was just… I have never been so thirsty in my entire life.

My mother walked into the room. A lot of times they have the children, you know, or the parents train the children at these early ages. There was a table in the middle of the room and I was sitting at it. She brings in this cold pitcher of water and she starts pouring it. I said, “Mom! I want a drink of water,” and she slapped me out of the chair. (pause)

GS: Hm.

SV: And I remember crying! And as I’m crying, she’s drinking the water in front of me, and she leaves! She takes the pitcher of water. And a couple of hours later, she came back in and did the same thing. And I said, “Mom, Mom, I want water!” And she slapped me! I mean, across the room.

After this had happened about three times, luckily I was bright enough that by the third time she came in, I mean, I remember crying silently, but I just looked at her. I didn’t ask.

After she got up and left with the pitcher, a man came into the room. He said, “You did very well that time.” And then he gave me a drink of water.

GS: Hm.

SV: That was part of the “learning not to want” stage. Looking back on it, I realize now as an adult that the part of that training was to teach me not to recognize my own physiological needs and respond to them, but to look to outside people to tell me what I wanted or needed. Which is what…

GS: Now you basically, you told me you led a dual life in the Illuminati. That’s basically how they function.

SV: Oh yeah!

GS: You have a day job, and then at nighttime you’re quite busy sometimes with the cult activities, correct?

SV: Yes.

GS: Okay. What I wanted to get into… you were talking about these groups. I remember I mentioned to you, you said you had these meetings three times a week. I said, “Well, what about if I wanted to go and visit, and maybe do a story about them?” What would happen, or how could… would I be able to find one of these meetings that were going on, in your area of Escondido?

SV: Well no, because of the security measures. And A), you really don’t want to show up unannounced at a meeting if you could get through their security, because the chances are you would never make it out alive. Let’s just say that a certain auto accident would occur, and be reported in the papers: “Unfortunate accident – man accidentally runs into tree.” (Laughs) I mean, I’m serious!

The security that they have during group meetings is so intense that it would be very difficult. They have security at the one-mile perimeter, the three-mile perimeter and the five-mile perimeter. They have three people assigned. Usually one is up in a tree where you can’t see him at the five-mile perimeter.

GS: Mm hm.

SV: And then you have one person who is standing, looks like a security guard for the estate, because these are often large, wealthy estates, which is appropriate. He is dressed in a uniform. The third person is standing hidden behind a tree. As cars come through, and they come through the gates – remember these are gated estates.

GS: Mm hm.

SV: So if it’s not someone on their approved license checklist, they will stop the car. It’s just like at a military installation. They will say, “Can I help you? Are you lost?” Their goal is to delay the person. Now if a person is saying, “Oh, this is blah blah blah,” and they are just asking for directions, they will give them directions, be very pleasant and send them on their way, to where they are supposed to be going.

But if they are acting as if they want to go further into the estate, and this is not an okay person, then they will say, “Uh, all right, well HE’S NOT EXPECTING YOU.” That’s a code word. That tells the person either behind, up in the tree, or hidden further back – they radio ahead and they say “UNEXPECTED VISITOR.”

At that point, everyone has been trained to pick up and leave immediately, within five minutes – with no traces of the activity.

GS: So this is some of the methods they go through so you don’t get caught. I know that you wrote an article about why the cult doesn’t get caught.

SV: Oh yeah.

GS: It’s pretty specific. You have so much stuff here, and we can’t get into it all in two hours, so please pick and choose what you think is most important. But I find that to be interesting – why the cult doesn’t get caught. Is there anything in just a brief time you could explain to us… that?

SV: Well, their security, their money, their influence. Some of these people even own newspapers. Imagine trying to get a (laughs) article published, you know, disclosing… There’s a lot of reasons why they don’t get caught. That’s the first thing people ask.

Then my next question is, “Well, how many child pornographers are there out there, that the police have been chasing for years, and have never found or caught?”

GS: Correct.

SV: And they’re not even members of a secret organization. They’re just trying to hide, you know. So when you consider that…

GS: Now you…

SV: Okay.

GS: Yeah. You were a mid-level person in this organization, a head trainer. We’re going to get into those specifics in the next hour. But you know, what did you learn about the infiltration of this group into all our different areas of government and media? They are basically at the high levels of most of our financial institutions also, correct?

SV: Yes.

GS: And that is a great way to pursue their goal. I guess I’ve got to ask you this. How come things are moving a little bit faster in America now? I remember back in the 80s when I was confronted with this, when I came back home I didn’t really see this kind of New World Order movement… all this different symbolism that you see now. What is going on, just for our listeners, right now? Why are things stepped up since 9-11?

SV: I believe it’s because they can see the fulfillment of their goal… See, I’m going to sound very cynical now, and please forgive me for this, okay? Their goal is to rule the world, and personally I believe that they do – it’s just not open yet.

GS: Mm hm.

SV: And they say they’re now preparing people for when they disclose themselves openly. Does that mean that they can’t be stopped? I believe they could. I believe it would take a miracle, because of the amount of infiltration I see at all levels of society, and the world. These guys, these people have a lot of money. They have a lot of influence. And your average person has no idea of how much is going on behind the scenes that no one understands.

But, with that said, I think that they’re already there, they just aren’t open. These people just don’t know where they’re going! (Laughs) If they did, I think the average person would be horrified to know how much is going on behind the scenes that people really don’t know.

GS: Yeah, and the point of this interview, one, I had two goals…

SV: But… But you see, I don’t want to sound disparaging, because I am also a strong Christian. I have faith in God, and I believe through prayer, and through people knowing… I mean, I would like them to be stopped. I just don’t know, at this point, how do you take on the financial institutions of the world, the major oil enterprises of the world, you know? (Laughs) That’s the question! (Laughs) You know?

GS: Yeah! You know, it is a difficult question. Now you’re in the mid-level of this group. You worked your way up to a head trainer, correct?

SV: Yeah… Yeah.

GS: Now what did you learn… Before we get into specifics, you outline some in of your writings, the big money-making… the ways this group makes its money. Can you go over and outline some of those methods?

SV: Again, if you can think of an illegal activity, they’re probably involved at some point. Maybe not overtly, at the point of where the actual money is first shaking hands – but when you have child pornography, prostitution, white slavery, gun running, gambling, then at some point where the money is changing hands, buffered by about four layers of people, there’s going to probably be someone from the Illuminati involved at that point. These guys have their fingers in everything.

GS: Now…

SV: Uh…

GS: Go ahead.

SV: But they also use legitimate means. They launder their money. When you have a lot of money, you have to do something with it. And so, these men don’t come in and say, “Hi! I’m a member of the Illuminati and I want to run your bank.” What they’ll do is they’ll quietly come in and become a quiet investor, start buying up shares. And over a period of maybe, almost a lifetime, they will get a controlling interest in the bank, or become a very… you know. Or maybe in their son’s lifetime.

That’s the other thing about the Illuminati. The Illuminati do not see it as “This is what must happen now, in my lifetime.” These people have goals that last for centuries, for two centuries. They are very, very patient.

GS: And that’s why the specific training of the children is so important, correct?

SV: Yes. It’s to teach you PATIENCE. Everyone knows, growing up in the group, we may not see the coming order disclosed or open or revealed in our lifetime, but our children or our grandchildren may. So they will spend their entire life trying to bring about the goals of the organization.

GS: (Chuckles) Hm. Incredible. So now you’re in the mid-level. I can see now where they used these programming techniques, the different mind control techniques. We have a minute before the break. Just kind of whet our interests about how you… what your specific role was.

SV: Well, they did a lot of what you might call human experimentation. And they had a lot of research protocols going on. So one thing I did was to supervise the research going on. I was teaching the younger trainers and head trainers how to do things more efficiently, how to do their job well, but also reviewing their research reports for errors or problems.

Eventually I became kind of a consultant. If a problem occurred, or they didn’t know how to install something, or if they needed assistance, I would help them with problem solving as well.

GS: Okay, we’re back on the Investigative Journal. I’ve got a short four minute segment here, then we’ll take a break and come back with Svali for a whole [additional] hour. We’re talking about jobs in the Illuminati, the practical daily jobs that these members of this group, who are infiltrated in America heavily… what they do. Now one thing I find interesting, Svali, knowing the media… I’m not going to name names or anything, because I don’t have any specific information. But I find it interesting.

Doing some background checks on a lot of the top media people in our country, they all come from these very wealthy families. (Laughs) Now that’s not the typical MO for a journalist. A journalist is somebody who grows up on the street, wants to talk to people, I can think of Jimmy Breslin, guys who never went to college, didn’t know how to type, and just got in there, took their tie off and started writing stories.

But you know, as you look at the media now, there are all these silver spoon kids – growing up with silver spoons. I find that quite interesting. How deeply infiltrated, from your knowledge, are they in our media?

SV: Wow. Pretty… I do know, uh, fairly deeply. I remember that when I was in San Diego on Leadership Council during meetings, they would laugh about how people had no idea of how much they were being influenced and didn’t even know it. They found that kind of amusing, which is… I mean, that’s the mindset of people in the group, though. They’re like, “The sheep have no idea that they’re being led by the hand.”

And they find it amusing, because they show it as evidence of… I mean, I’m just describing what they say, I don’t agree with it now, but they saw as evidence of the stupidity of the m… of the average person – that they have no idea.

I’m not saying that every news story or every newscaster is a member of the group… by no means. But, they specifically do teach and train and educate children that show an aptitude for the media, because they want that. And if the person has a bright, charismatic personality, and presents well, then that child will go into that, if they have their verbal communication and other skills required.

GS: Well, you know, that could explain why a lot of our stories really never get covered, outside of the influence they have financially and the ownership of the media.

SV: (crosstalk) That’s absolutely not by coincidence.

GS: What’s that?

SV: Not at all a coincidence.

GS: Yes. That’s a good idea, folks, why you’re not getting the news from those outlets. Not only in our government. It explains a lot of things. Look at the war in Iraq. Look at the evidence there that shows what is wrong. Look at what they’re doing in Iran right now. I mean, it’s incredible. All this stuff is pretty obvious, people. There’s something behind it. Svali is here trying to explain this organization from her knowledge, and it is quite, quite a story.

I know this idea. You were involved as a trainer of mind programming? I mean, this is just, I’m looking at some of the chapters in a book you have yet to publish [in paper book form]. We’re talking about brainwave, color control, metal, jewel programming, programming link to stories and movies… I mean, it goes into suicidal programming.

In just a minute here before our break, can you kind of break down what you learned about the importance, well, oh! We’ve got to take a break, Svali, sorry. We’re going to do that quickly, then we’ll get back to you. We’re talking to Svali, regarding her role as a head trainer in the Illuminati, the American Illuminati. GS: Okay, we’re back on the Republic Broadcasting Network. One more hour. We’re talking to Svali, and she was a head trainer in the Illuminati.

Svali, what type of programming do they actually teach you, and how do you learn these different techniques?

SV: Well, you’re taught from childhood on. My training in how to be a programmer started very young. I was mentored by another programmer at the age of 5, by a doctor at George Washington University. Not only did he do the programming on me, but also taught me how to do it to others. The types of programming… again, that could be a whole ten-hour segment to go into depth. From the time a child is an infant, all through their life basically, they are tested, they are profiled. Trainers can create a psychological profile, and then they update it frequently.

Basically, they are trying to install in this child the ability to obey, loyalty to the group, and the ability to do their job within the group.

Now those jobs vary in complexity. You may have on one side a child trained to be a prostitute. On the other end you may have a child trained to become a governmental figure, which is a lot more complex programming.

But as long as the loyalty to the group is instilled, and that is the first and foremost programming always installed, then no matter what their eventual role is, they will remain loyal. And that becomes their first loyalty. Whatever nation, whatever their public role in life is, their first and foremost loyalty will be to the group, and to serve its goals – whether they know.

A lot of times, the goal is [also] to be able to help the child create that complete division between their day role and their night role. So a pleasant, charming, wonderful, kind person in the daytime could be an absolutely cold, ruthless person at night – or during the day, you know, it’s also during the day they do it.

Then you may have a housewife with children who goes out and completes a courier job for the group. And no one would ever suspect her. Who is going to suspect [that] this lovely-looking little housewife with a baby in a car seat is actually carrying some valuable documents?

Again, the first and foremost other thing was to instill loyalty, and they want to discourage people from questioning orders. They really don’t want you questioning that, and they want you to obey their directives. Should people show signs of not doing that, then they go on for tune-ups. Actually people are being programmed all through their life. We used to call them tune-ups. It’s a lifelong process for members of the group.

GS: We have a minute here before our break, and we’ll get back and get in depth into some of these areas. But what went wrong with you? I mean, the dropout rate probably is very low…

SV: Extremely low. (laughs)

GS: …considering the number of, considering the training. But what went wrong with you? They somehow missed something.

SV: When I was very young I absolutely believed in the goals of [the group]. You never saw a more loyal group member. I thought that they were saving the world. I thought that we were doing a wonderful thing. But the older I got, I started to see the methods that were being used for so long, and that the ends do not justify the means. I became increasingly cynical, partly because I saw what I was doing to people. I was lying to them. I was manipulating them. I was telling them things that weren’t true. I remember questioning this, thinking, “I was told lies as a child too, then. I was manipulated.”

GS: Wow.

SV: And finally you start to question, as an adult, the things you were taught. (bumper music starts)

GS: Okay. We’re going to take a break, Svali, we’ll be back in three minutes on the Republic Broadcasting Network.

GS: Okay, we’re back on the Investigative Journal. Svali, I wanted to ask you a question. Before we get into how you finally left the group, and what happened to you afterwards in your life now – tell us. You wrote an article that is very interesting – A Day in the Life of a Trainer for the Illuminati. Tell us what you went through in a normal day in your role at the Illuminati. Go ahead.

SV: Okay. Basically I would get up. At the time that I described in that article, I was teaching at a Christian school. And so I would get up, I would get my two children dressed and ready for school. Just like a normal mom, you know, go through the day, come home. We’d have little friends over and play, and stuff like that. Then, you know, have dinner. I was a good mom. I was your average American housewife – on the surface.

But underneath the surface, then my husband and I would remind each other on nights when there was a meeting. And then what we would do is when we would go to sleep, I had programming in place that would allow me to wake up within ten minutes of the specified time. If I knew there was a meeting that night, I would wake up ten minutes before it was time to get ready and go. A lot of times we would even go to bed with our clothes on. And I never really thought that was abnormal, you know?

GS: Mm hm.

SV: I thought everyone went to bed with their clothes on. I didn’t even question it, you know, on nights when we had meetings. I thought, “Oh, it’s warmer.” (Laughs)

GS: Okay.

SV: And then we’d get up and go, and drive to the meeting. I was also very involved in Military in San Diego. In fact the group has a lot of military orientation. So on top I would take the kids to their area, there was an area where the kids would go and change. They had a room and we would have like baskets of clothes, and we would change our clothing. You’d pick out your clothing, it had your name on it, and put on your uniform. Or whatever you wore that night. The kids would wear these little miniature military uniforms.

Then they would go out and do their training exercises. They were learning how to march, how to shoot. All kids in the Illuminati, at least in that area, know how to take apart a gun, put it together and shoot with deadly accuracy by the age of eight years old. Martial arts, there’s a lot of martial arts training. Sometimes I’d help supervise that, or fill in if there’s a military trainer [who] was [absent]. Everyone had to be – there was a lot of cross training. But most of the time I supervised the training. I would be working on implementing programming, or what we’d call tuning up – reinforcing previously installed programming in adults.

At that point I was normally supervising the younger trainers. They would be doing it, and I would be there watching and making sure they did it correctly. Or I would be also evaluating whether – sometimes every once in a while we’d be working on something that was somewhat experimental, and then I would be taking a more active role, assessing the person’s responses to the new protocol, recording it and if there was any difference between established parameters for that protocol or expected responses, I would be flagging that.

GS: Give me an example of someone you were working on. What… how would they be introduced, what would be the reason? Would they be military, what is, how does someone get sent to you?

SV: No, these were all members of the group!

GS: Oh, okay.

SV: Oh! I can tell you that in San Diego, twenty percent of the active members of the group were active military.

GS: Okay.

SV: Okay? And think of military intelligence. Think high-ranking officials, colonels, (laughs), commanders. My ex-husband was a lieutenant commander in the Navy, getting ready to become a commander, okay?

GS: All right.

SV: These are not stupid people.

GS: So you were basically working on the programming of the members involved.

SV: (crosstalk) Yes. Oh yeah. Yeah.

No, we didn’t program people who were not members of the group. You CANNOT install significantly traumatic mind-control programming in a person who is not a member of the group.

GS: (crosstalk) Good.

SV: Now there are certain… what you can do is what we call passive programming, which is basically through media means. If someone’s watching a television program, they go immediately into alpha state. Everyone in the group, even a baby in the group knows that, because these people are very much into behavioral psychology. That’s a trance state, almost, a very relaxed state where messages can be implemented.

And that’s why I very strongly suggest people be very careful about the TV shows they watch! That’s all I will say about that.

But no, you cannot take an adult who is not a member of the group and do what we did to them. They would go psychotic, or they wouldn’t survive it, probably. They wouldn’t be able to psychologically handle it.

GS: Tell us some examples of what you were doing. Program techniques.

SV: (sighs) Sometimes, (sigh) it would involve, normally we would start with a hypnotic induction or even sometimes we would inject a medication. A lot of times especially young children have a lot of fear when they are going into programming, but adults do too. We want them to relax. We give them a very short-acting medication to relax them.

We would then invoke a hypnotic state in them. If it was an older person I would be checking that the codes are already installed. If I was getting ready to install programming in like a young child, I would tell them, explain to them very patiently exactly the behavior expected. I’d say, “I want you to do this, and this, and this.” I break it up into steps. Then I’d say, “First we’re going to practice this.”

I would show the child what I want them to do – I would model it. I would then tell the child, “DO IT.” The child would then do it, okay? But, normally they won’t do it well the first time, so she would… she or he would get shocked. That was called, because the group very much uses what they call positive and negative reinforcement. Okay?

If a child did not do it perfectly the first time, they are shocked. That’s the negative reinforcement.

Then I would say, “DO IT AGAIN.” They would show me the behavior.

Now at this point we start associating the behavior with an external stimulus or cue, too. Now a lot of times a child… If this is a behavior, though, that we want associated with a specific code, the child will often then traumatize very heavily first, to create a fragmentation in their personality. Then the behavior and the associated cue are given.

You might hear a tone, like “ding ding ding.” [I say,] “All right, I want you to do this.” Ding ding ding. The child hears the tone, they get up and they do the behavior. Once they can perform it perfectly, they are rewarded with praise. Good job, or a hug. Children like hugs, or something like that.

Then you do it over, and over, and over. That’s why trainers have to be very patient people. Because then maybe after the child has done it fifty times, then they hear the cue, they get up, [and] they do it. It’s not even a conscious [decision]… it’s reflexive. At that point it’s considered installed.

For very, very important programming, I’m talking about like end-level assassin programming, because we did train people how to assassinate people, and that’s a whole other topic I don’t want to go into here…

GS: Okay.

SV: We would then do a ritual to seal the programming afterwards.

GS: (Final-sounding) Okay.

SV: Okay?

GS: Just something, I was looking at some of your articles. One was “Christmas in the Cult.” Just to get off on a different subject here…

SV: Sure.

GS: You say this is quite different for you, when you were growing up, than it is for most children. Can you just kind of briefly tell us what you meant by that?

SV: Yeah, um… (sighs) I mean, we had trees and presents and things like that. But for most children, Christmas is just happy time, you know, lots of presents. But in the group, there are some very high ceremonies that are celebrated. Several times, in fact many times, I flew into Germany. And there, there wasn’t a Santa Claus. They had a figure called Father Yule…

GS: (crosstalk) Mm hm.

SV: …who represents Christmas there. But he is not the kind of benevolent Santa that you see here. This is a man with a golden scepter dressed in a white robe and a golden sash around.

I was once at the German Father’s house, where there was a gathering with children and adults, and Father Yule was present. He raises the scepter and basically strikes down a child in front of everyone.

GS: (laughs in disbelief) Oh my God!

SV: I know!

GS: (shocked) He strikes down a CHILD? I just…

SV: I know. Yes. He struck down the child with his, his scepter. And that… that is not what you call a happy Christmas, you know?

GS: No. (sighs)

SV: And at the same time, yes, we did have a tree, you know, and fruitcake and all that, and decorate the house, but there is another side to Christmas. It’s, it’s…

GS: (in shock) You know, I’m just listening and I just can’t believe, you know, we’re, you know, we have leaders in our country that have probably gone through this kind of stuff. I mean, uh, it’s just incredible, this group. I know they’ve been around for a long, long time, thousands of years, and gone through it, came here. George Washington was a 33 rd degree Mason…

SV: (crosstalk,) Oh, YEAH!

GS: …and we go on. Uh, the quest… you know, I just, I want you to understand, just from my point of view, I just wonder how… you know, you write a story, “The End of the Illuminati.” How do we get rid of these people? I know, you’re out of it. You couldn’t take it any more. You think we can inspire more mid-level people to just LEAVE, like you, so they have no one to DO this kind of INSIDIOUS… CRAZY… PROGRAMMING and lifestyle! What do you – what do you think?

SV: Well, I believe that, as strongly as a Christian, that it’s a spiritual warfare as well as an emotional and psychological warfare. I believe that, by the grace of God.

But I will also say that when I was in the group, a lot of the members are not happy. You have people in the group that are there because they love it, because they believe in our goals, they are totally dedicated. But to be honest, a lot… I often knew as many people who would have left in a minute if they thought that they could get out, and make it.

GS: You know, about your husband, uh, just to break in and then go back into that. Do they marry you to somebody in the group, or is that forced on you?

SV: (crosstalk) Yeah. Yeah. No. In the group, the marriages are always arranged, in my experience. In my 38 years in the group, I never knew of a couple, in the Illuminati, that did not have an arranged marriage. It can’t be…

GS: (crosstalk) You just mentioned a couple that I, I suspect. Clinton and uh, Bill and Hillary.

SV: Oh, well, YEAH! (Laughs)

GS: (Laughs)

SV: YES! Definite. Definite.

GS: Yes. Bill?

SV: Yeah.

GS: Go ahead.

SV: Yeah. A lot of times, these marriages are arranged for compatibility, but also for bloodlines – to bring the right bloodlines together.

GS: Okay, good. We’re going to be back in three minutes. I want to continue this, and then we’re going to get into Svali’s life after the Illuminati, on the Republic Broadcasting Network.

GS: Okay, we’re back on the Investigative Journal. I’m your host, Greg Szymanski. And let me tell you, as an interviewer, and someone who has researched the Illuminati for a long time… it started way back when, when I was a young reporter in Rome…

It’s a whole different ballgame when you’re actually talking to someone with experiences like this. It takes it out of that realm of what is quasi-fiction fact, into the realm of reality. It’s – it’s really shocking.

And, uh, I’ll be honest with you. This is a story, uh, that folks, you have to listen to – because this is going on in our country. All the things you’re seeing regarding our rights being taken away, the police state, the war in Iraq, 9/11 – all these things have to do with this powerful group.

Svali, you know, we’re talking about mid-level people. Now we’re going to talk about some of the lower-level people. I’m interested in who they are. But you said they weren’t happy, but a lot of them probably stay because it’s very… I mean, this is a… it’s a very lucrative way to live, I imagine.

SV: Oh, yeah!

GS: …families?

SV: Oh, yeah! That’s the main thing, that’s one of the factors that keeps people in. The reason more people don’t leave is because leaving means giving up your husband, your children, your entire family on both sides, your money. And basically, for a lot of people, leaving the group means giving up everything, and starting out penniless and alone.

Not only that, but you’re combating child programming to recontact, to go back, to be loyal, to be a good member.

GS: Mm hm.

SV: And I know many people have tried to leave and went back, because they just couldn’t take it.

GS: Do you, uh, do you want to take a phone call right now? Break it up?

SV: Sure!

GS: Okay. Marilyn, in California. You’re on the Investigative Journal. Marilyn?

Marilyn (ML): Yes, I’ve been a part of this. I lost part of it, I’ve been listening on the Internet. I didn’t quite catch it. How did this woman become involved in this Illuminati training?

GS: Uh, go ahead, can you explain that, Svali?

SV: I was taught it from early childhood. I was mentored into it. Trainers in the group are mentored. You wok with older adults and they show you, and you are given increasing responsibility. And so by the time you are in your teens, you are basically doing adult training responsibilities. You’ve been taught for years.

ML: Your parents put you in it, or… ?

SV: Yes, they were members.

ML: Oh, I see, so it comes down through the parents – one parent to another.

SV: Yeah. Or from both.

ML: (shocked) Are they private SCHOOLS?

SV: Through what?

ML: Are these private SCHOOLS?

SV: Well, my children were schooled at private Christian schools. They were all Illuminati. (Laughs) Okay?

ML: (surprised, “Now I get it” voice tone) Oh, you’re saying that the CHRISTIAN schools are Illuminati!!

SV: SOME of them are. Not all – but some.

ML: Yeah, obviously.

SV: No, no. The ones that my children in were, specifically. But no, there’s a lot of good Christian schools that have nothing to do with the group, but some can be. Now I went to a public school, but what’s interesting is, out of three public schools I went to as a young child, two burned down. (sadly): So there’s no access to any school records.

ML: (completely shocked) I’ll be DARNED.

GS: Marilyn, just to get you up to speed. You’re born into this, then you’re trained as a young child. You go through an induction ceremony in the Vatican. And this is going on with one to two percent of our population, according to Svali. Very serious, in all levels. Government, and everything else. Go ahead, Marilyn, do you have another question?

ML: Yeah. When you said the Vatican, now that is not a Christian religion, okay? Now I’m a Christian. Catholics is a Christian religion, we look at them as the precursor of the New World Religion. So…

GS: Well, you know, if I may just break in. I grew up a Catholic. I don’t get involved in the splicing of the religions. I’m basically stating that when I started researching the Illuminati as a reporter in Rome, and I realized there was a bad portion of the Church, I looked at it. I had to deal with the evil and the good. So that’s the way I reconciled it. The evil WITHIN the Catholic Church, at the high level of the Vatican , which seeps down into many, many areas. Go ahead.

ML: Okay, well I won’t argue that point.

SV: (crosstalk) Now… Now… Now…

ML: I won’t agree with it, but it sounds like you have become possibly Born AGAIN to get out of this? Would I be correct in that?

SV: Yes. Yes. Now I very much… Now first, I do want to say I am not slamming the Catholic Church or the average Catholic. I have many good friends that are Catholics, that are strong Christians. I became a Christian, and that was the only way I could get out. But just so you know, too, a lot of card-carrying Illuminists, well we don’t really carry cards, but I’m using that term…

ML: Yes.

SV: …are members of the Baptist church, are members of Pentecostal churches. It… This… I was on a worship team for a Wesleyan church in San Diego … in my day life. Okay?

ML: Oo-kay. Uh, yeah. Very, very confused. I mean, I, uh, I think this is interesting. Many people say that the Catholic Church will be the forerunner of the New World Religion. There’s some very good books out. In fact, I think you may have interviewed one of these men – the Grand Plan Design by John Daniels?

GS: Uh huh.

ML: You remember that?

GS: Uh…

SV: But, but…

GS: Go ahead.

SV: The average Catholic has no idea of what’s going on in the Vatican.

ML: Yeah, yeah. I think that’s interesting that, that the average Catholic would not know what’s going on. That’s just my take on it. (laughs)

GS: Well, I’ll tell you something. As an average Catholic going to Rome my first time in 1980, I didn’t know what was going on, and I grew up as a Catholic, went to Notre Dame High School. It was quite a learning experience for me.

ML: I think the Catholics, when they find out how evil the church is, stay in it! I mean, they really… why would they want to stay in it? That’s what bothers me. I know some good people who are like that. And I don’t get it! (Laughs)

GS: Well, the only answer is… it doesn’t… (bumper music starts) (laughs) I don’t know. There are many Catholics who aren’t actively practicing.

ML: Yeah. Thank you!

GS: But anyway, we’ll leave that for another time. Thanks, Marilyn. We’ll be back on the Investigative Journal in three minutes, with Svali.

GS: Okay! Uh, you know, they’re not going to get me. That’s for sure. My house is anti-Illuminated. It’s not going to happen, folks. Just to end that, Svali, before I get back to you, just to end that conversation we had with Marilyn about Catholicism. I look back at it, and I really thank my dad. And I do it in kind of a way, I’m just thinking about it now. I didn’t know what the Church was about.

But you know, something strange did happen when I was young. My mom died, and I was ten years old. My brother was six months old at the time she died of leukemia. It was a very, very tragic affair – left my dad and me and my brother alone. And I remember my dad literally took a priest, a head Monsignor in our parish. And I won’t even tell you where. Saint John Rebove (ph), right outside of Chicago.

This man came into our house, I’ll never forget it. He said that he was going to put ME and my little BROTHER in an ORPHANAGE. My dad literally picked him up and threw him out the door! Literally.

SV: Wow.

GS: And from that point on, my dad never went back to church again. My brother never went to a Catholic school. I of course asked if I could finish, only because I had friends there. But you know, who knows what would have happened, you know, looking back on the craziness that goes on in the Church.

But anyway, Svali, you were talking about, uh, you know something? These people that are too… that do not want to get out because of the financial ties. But let’s go back to when you were in the Illuminati. How did this happen? How did you finally leave? Tell us this whole story about you leaving the Illuminati. We haven’t touched on that yet.

SV: Sure. Well, I do want to say one thing that I agree with Marilyn on. Without faith in God, I couldn’t have done it. I became a Christian, and that was for me revolutionary. It made me question again more of what I was being taught, or had believed all my life. I, for the… I began to realize that what I was doing was wrong. I became increasingly cynical.

I also then started standing up to the head trainer in the county who despised me. He would do things that were just blatantly cruel for no reason whatsoever. I’d say, “You’re wrong”. Well, people don’t like that. (Laughs)

He took it out on me in a lot of horrible ways. I finally made the decision to run. I ran to this… to another state, because I knew that my chances of getting out while still staying in that area with people I knew, surrounded by people who were in the group, was not going to be very good. So I went to another state.

GS: You had to leave your family and everything, right?

SV: Everything. Well, my children were with their grandparents. At that point I thought that was better than them being with my husband. I was going to go get my kids. But my husband then called and he said, “I want to reunite with you.” And I said, “Okay, that’s wonderful.” And I said, “But you have to get help. You have to get some treatment, because we can’t go on. You’ve got to get out of the group.” He said, “Okay. Help me get the kids and I’ll meet you in a week.”

So the day before, he called and said, “I’ll be there tomorrow,” blah blah blah. And so I was excited, thinking, “Oh, he’s getting out, he’s getting out, that’s wonderful!” Instead, he went… he had gotten the kids several days before. He was lying to me, and I didn’t know it. He had gone to a judge.

And the day that he was supposed to arrive, there was a knock on my door. It was a policeman serving me DIVORCE papers, and also a restraining order, saying that I could not come within a hundred yards of my husband or my children.

And at that point, I felt slightly punished (sigh) for leaving the group.

I fought that, and it… (sighs) I fought for four years with a court system that said things like this didn’t occur, because my husband would go into court and say, “This woman is psychotic. She’s making it all up. There’s no way. Ha, ha, ha. This stuff doesn’t happen in this day and age.” And the judge would say, “You’re right.” Slam. Full custody to their father. And I had to have supervised visitation for four years with my own children, so that… because I was considered a kidnap risk.

Through a lot of prayer, I had my whole church praying for me here in Texas, and through Lambley Research and miracles, my children were finally allowed unsupervised visitation with me, after four years. During that time, I said to my daughter, who was fourteen, I said, “I want so badly for you to get out”. And she looks at me, and she starts going…

(hyperventilating, extremely terrified): “Oh! You shouldn’t have said that, Mom! You shouldn’t have said that, Mom!” You know? She just… she just freaked out. She just totally lost it.

GS: Mm hm.

And I realized that it was her programming cycling, because she was just terrified. You know, she’s like, (terrified, very rapid): “Why did you say that, why did you say that”, and I said, “It’s okay, it’s okay, honey, calm down, calm.”

And the following… she was just shaking and shaking. And then finally she said, “Well, I don’t want to go back and get hurt.” And then I said, “YOU DON’T HAVE TO.”

And at that point I faced several prison sentences, but I called my ex and I said, “I will face… I will not let those children go back and get hurt again.”

GS: Okay.

SV: And he flew out to get them, and he could have put me in prison at that time, because I was breaking the custody visitation. And you know how strong the courts are on that!

GS: Mm hm.

SV: And I said to him, “Please… Look.” Because it was so nice. My daughter and son both said, “We don’t want to go back, Dad. We don’t want to get hurt. We don’t want to do this anymore.”

He looked at them, and he said, “I want to go think about it.” He went home, and I was praying for him at the time.

And then that night he called me, and he said, (delirious, hyperventilating): “Oh my God. Oh my God.” I said, “What is it?” He said, “We’ve gotta get out! We’ve gotta get out!” (Laughs) And I said, “YES! You do!” And then he said… and then he made the decision to get out.

At that point he went to a Notary Public. He gave me… he did a legal case document giving me full custody of my children. And then he said he was so sorry for, he put me through, the H, E, L, L he had put me through for years.

GS: Now, have you had any reprisals from people in the group since you were leaving, or any warnings?

SV: Yes.

GS: To keep quiet, or anything like that?

SV: (crosstalk) Yes. Oh, yeah! Oh… yeah, of course! There’s one time when I did write one article that named some specific dates and times. I got hurt afterwards, and it made me very cautious. That’s why I don’t give a lot of radio interviews, and why I don’t do a lot of this. That’s one reason why…

GS: Well, I appreciate this, because you know, the number of people you’re going to help, by… maybe, maybe waking up the American people to what is really going on. Sometimes you can wake up many more people by a person like you, than talking about a hundred million different generalities.

Let me take a call. Chris, in Washington, you’re on the Investigative Journal.

CH: (calm, relaxed cadence): Hi. Svali, I just want to say how much I appreciate your bravery, in presenting this information in the way that you are. I’ve read your website recently. And my question is very simple. Based on the information that you’re presenting, I’m wondering what timeline the organization of the larger Family that you’re describing has for implementing the New World Order?

SV: Okay. I was told it would occur during my generation. I was told that by the year 2050 that they would be revealed. Now again, their timelines change, though. In fact, I jokingly referred to them as being like the Soviet Union, because you know how they had their five and ten year plans, and then things always got changed? In my own lifetime I saw several different timelines for things that were supposed to occur and change.

But as Greg noted, I’ve also heard of, from different people, that actually there is a HUGE push in the last few years. It’s like, “It’s CLOSE. It’s CLOSE. Let’s make things happen more quickly.”

CH: Mm hm.

SV: So I couldn’t begin to guess whether that’s an accurate timeline or not. I know what I was told.

CH: I have a follow up question and that’s it…

GS: Go ahead.

CH: …and this will be it for me. I have recently, against my own resistance to doing so, investigated, started to investigate fringe matters, if you will. Among them, the upcoming date on the Mayan Calendar of 2012.

SV: Uh huh.

CH: And as I’ve done this research, I’ve allowed myself just to be open to this information without believing anything I’m reading. One of the ideas that is presenting itself is that around 2012, not just according to the Mayan Calendar but many other theories out there, that we will be undergoing, as a planet, a revolutionary shift, if you will, of some kind or another.

And I’m wondering in the back of my mind if there might be any kind of race against the clock on THAT scale, if you will – especially if we’re talking about a potential spiritual warfare…

SV: Oh, yeah.

CH: …using your words in play here. Do you see a possible relation there?

SV: Yes, I do. And, 2012 IS an important year. But again, I was not told that the final Revealing would occur then. But I believe that probably… what will happen is that there will be events taking place that will help to set the stage.

CH: Okay.

SV: But it’s going to be… I was told… again, I’m telling you what I was told while a member of the group, so please take it with a grain of salt. As I know, these people aren’t always honest or trustworthy – they are deceptive. But I was told that there would be an enormous economic collapse prior to the Revealing. That basically the stock market would destabilize.

CH: Well, that appears to be already happening.

SV: Yeah. Yeah. And I was told it would make the Great Depression look like Sunday school. And at that time, it’s going to… they’re going to really be manipulating finances to bring about chaos, confusion, warfare, and then…

But see, I don’t like to be so negative. But I am telling you what I was taught when I was in the group, you know?

CH: Well, I so appreciate it.

SV: Yeah.

CH: And I’m sure we all do.

SV: Yeah. I…

CH: You’re a great voice.

SV: Well, thank you! I appreciate that very much. But out of this chaos they said would come order. You see, the group believes that out of chaos comes order.

CH: Well, I don’t want to take any more time…

GS: (crosstalk) Well, as far as I’m concerned, I’d rather, you know, let things… Svali, these guys want to bring down this country financially, in whatever way possible. And right now, your voice is important in that.

And Chris, I really appreciate you saying that, because we want to stop these guys! I mean, come on! Let’s get the American people to get together and just put an end to this. We have a powerful group in numbers. We may not have the money, but we can take it back. And I don’t want to be bullied by these kind of people. That’s my feeling.

SV: Yeah.

GS: Let me take another call. Uh, Harper in Canada. Harper? Go ahead.

HP: Great, thanks Greg. And Svali, I read your expose when it came out on Suite101.com a few years ago, and I always wondered what happened to you, because you vanished from Suite 101. So it’s great to hear about you. A couple quick questions, I’ll make them real fast. First is the term Moriah Conquering Wind. I’d never heard that before or since I read it in your expose. I wondered if you could elaborate on that term a little bit.

I also wanted to ask you if this cult, as far as you know, claims to or believes to derive any of its heritage from Atlantis or any other lost civilization. Okay?

SV: I’m not sure about the reference to Moriah (pronounced like “Mariah” Carey) you’re describing, because Moriah is… is our name.

But I certainly can address the second question. The Illuminati completely believe that Atlantis is real. They teach it to their children as part of the oral history. They believe that it was one of the greatest civilizations that ever existed, and one of the most advanced.

What they teach… their take on it is that Atlantis was a great race of highly intelligent people who had a highly advanced faith, and who were highly enlightened.

But what they teach the Illuminati children is that then this prophet of the enemy, who was a prophet of God, came and foretold their destruction if they didn’t change their ways.

They were definitely Occultists. They were Luciferians on Atlantis. That was the religion. And in fact, a lot of the advances that Atlantis enjoyed was passed down to them through supernatural means… that is what I will say.

So they laughed at the prophet. In fact they killed him. And, he… I guess sometime afterward, we were taught that a few inhabitants escaped, but that tragically the great city was lost.

The Illuminati to this day mourn the loss of Atlantis, because they feel that these were… that the few survivors that left were among the great people who helped found the Free… what you would call the precursors of Illuminism.

HP: One more quick question, if I may.

GS: Go ahead.

HP: And I wanted to ask you if you have any reason to believe that people, men and/or women at the top of the pyramid, so to speak, practice a kind of magic where they are kind of skipping through time, in other words…

SV: (excited crosstalk) Oh! Oh! YES! Oh, without even being at the top… Oh, yes!

HP: …their body leaving, their soul or spirit leaving one body and coming and being born into another one, and therefore, you know, living through time.

SV: (excited crosstalk) Oh yeah! Yeah! Oh, yes! Yes, All the time. In fact, see, now this, now I didn’t go there in this interview. You start telling wackos, you start discussing things like that. But in the spiritual side, they very much teach things like time travel, traveling out of body, you know, psychic battling, things like that – things that cannot be explained by logic.

And I saw things that I cannot explain through human intellect or reasoning, that were highly supernatural, and involved all of that… and more.

[Svali has reported in 2-3 different articles seeing a group of people levitate an animal and choke it to death, though here she seems to refer to more than just that.]

HP: Okay, great. Pleasure to speak with you, Ma’am, and God bless you.

SV: Okay, God bless you too.

GS: Okay, I think we have Dave Wilcox called in. I think you know Dave through emails, Svali.

SV: Yes.

GS: Dave, uh, you want to say hello? And do you have a question for Svali?

DW: Sure. Uh, Svali, it’s great to have you on the air, and I’m really glad you decided to do it. So thank you very much.

SV: Oh thank you, Dave. It’s good to talk with you. Yeah.

DW: Yeah, I feel like you’re an old friend. I’ve been reading your stuff for so long, and you share so willingly and openly about yourself. It’s a real honor to be able to speak with you in person like this.

SV: Well, thank you!

GS: All right, well Dave, you may have something you want to say to Svali. Go ahead. You have a question?

DW: Sure. I think one of the things I’d really like to have covered here is [this]. You shared with me in an email recently about these stages of enlightenment that they try to guide people through?

SV: Yes.

DW: I would like you to try to sketch out for people how the behavioral conditioning that’s coming through the media, the movies and so forth might have affected them.

In other words, what personality characteristics would you see in a person when they have been influenced by these teachings? How would the average person, who is not really a bad person, start to be leaning, if the Illuminati teachings were actually having an effect on them? What would they be like? What would start happening?

SV: Well, again, as I said, the average person is not going to be a member of the group…

DW: Right.

SV: …so the influence would be much less. But the media, I believe that… well, I KNOW. I don’t believe, I KNOW that some of the media that we’re seeing nowadays is specifically targeted towards teaching people their philosophy or goals. All you have to do is watch the children’s cartoons on Saturday morning, and almost across the board you’ll see morphing, power battles, occult. And that’s intentional.

Movies coming out. Basically, if a person is being influenced by their teaching, that person will learn to not trust their own instincts, their own feelings, their own body, their own perceptions. They will be looking outside for guidance.

Second of all, they will be moving towards a heavily occultic worldview – that leaning upon the occult is heavily encouraged. All you have to do is watch Harry Potter! (Pause – laughs) You know?

DW: Yeah, I mean, the whole idea that…

SV: (crosstalk) I mean, not to slam one of those Potter movies, or the Matrix.

If you want to know pure Illuminist philosophy, the Matrix shows it. Definitely. The entire philosophy.

DW: Oh yeah. Right down with Morpheus being broken down with the injections, and they said that it’s like hacking a computer. (bumper music starts)

SV: Yeah! That’s an excellent [example...]

GS: Okay, we’re back with our final segment with Svali. She’s telling us about her experiences… thirty years with this insidious group called the Illuminati, how deeply penetrated and infiltrated they are in our culture and our country.

Svali, we talked about the higher levels, the mid-levels you were involved in as a head trainer. How low do they go? I said all along they’re involved in gang stalking, the MK-Ultra program, infiltrating truth organizations, infiltrating groups that are trying to do good. How far down DO they go?

SV: Well, they go down to the sister group levels I mentioned. The sister groups have anywhere from, usually roughly around 30 members. And those are what a lot of people would consider the… what you would consider the satanic cults, with a high priest and priestess. That would be the local level, the lower level.

But those people are also very active in their community. And so, they WILL be involved in intricate infiltrating activities when possible. Because to them, it’s not infiltrating… it’s helping. They think they’re helping the group, or helping people by becoming a member and spreading the influence.

GS: Let me squeeze in one more caller, Roger, a faithful listener. Roger, you’re on the Investigative Journal.

RG: Uh, yes. Thanks. I had so a big question and so little time that maybe I’ll just squeeze it in…

GS: We’ve got a couple minutes. Really try to work it in, Roger.

RG: Yeah, uh, well, you will enjoy this first, and that is that I recall when Charlotte Izerbie (ph) was here on the local Clear Channel radio show. The host was, of course, dismissive of an Illumi-Nazi agenda. It was great to hear Charlotte say, “You’re telling me? My own father was a high-level”… and she, of course, was a first or second-fiddle secretary at the department of Ed. And she said, “You’re telling me my own father on his deathbed was telling me, “You go get ‘em, girl,” and he was one of ‘em.”

GS: (Laughs)

RG: So that was great. Anyway, my question was towards the philosophical / religious motivators, if you will, which you have been dwelling on. I’ve been trying to form it up into a more cohesive, integrated…

GS: Try to make it quick, we’re running out of time. Go ahead.

RG: Yeah. To expose the ethos of the, you know, it’s like the Neocons serve as the pseudo-intellectual rationale for the Illumi-Nazi agenda. And I don’t presume that it turns on such fine distinctions, so much as it is a bare-knuckled lust for power. But, everybody has sort of a worldview that they use to justify their actions. And of course, it’s a most un-conservative, humanistic social engineering agenda on a far larger scale.

Now you mentioned about these people, basically, and it’s as rare as hen teeth…

GS: Quick, Roger…

RG: …yeah, to find somebody that’s not oxymoronically both a spiritualist and an occultist, and also a, what do you call, a hardcore rationalist. Or maybe that’s just [a] Republican assumption, right?

SV: (sighs)

GS: (slight laughing in delivery): I know there was a question in there somewhere, Roger…

RG: Yeah.

GS: But anyway, thanks for calling. Let me, I’ve only got a minute. I’ve got to finish with Svali.

Svali, tell us in your own words, you’ve got about a minute or two left here. You went forward, you came forward, (bumper music begins) you’re now living a life completely away from them. What’s your hopes of the future in our country right now?

SV: My hope is that people will realize that this is happening, and that they will start doing something about it – that they will start looking at it. Now again, we’re talking about people who are mentally wealthy, but it won’t be easy. But if people could rise up in prayer, and just say, “THIS ISN’T OKAY”…

If people would become informed enough to learn more about it, be aware they exist… and then, possibly, PRAY. Pray that people will take action against the things that are happening. Because these people…

GS: Okay, Svali, I’m…

SV: Okay. All right.
